My only complaint is that check-in is slow. There were two guys behind the counter, and they seemed to be in no rush, doing thing at a leisurely pace, even though there's a long line of people waiting to check in.

When we first walked in we thought it would be great as everything was bright and clean. The first night there was a party in the hotel and the music could be heard in our room. The second night the fire alarm glitched not once, not twice but THREE different times between midnight and 5am. The third night we were all too tired to know if anything happened. While the pool area is nice, the pool is not as big as pictured and never had enough space for young kids to swim without getting cannonballed or jumped on. It was always packed, and the water was far from clean when compared with the photos. After 2 nights we requested housekeeping and it wasn’t done. We inquired when we got back for the day and they didn’t have anyone to do it so the employee at reception did fresh linens for us, but the garbage etc. wasn’t changed (he did what he could, and we were okay as he went above and beyond). It is definitely outdated with exposed wires (though there are signs staying they’re not connected). I can tel you, though, that the fire alarms are VERY much connected, functional and loud. Boston Pizza was convenient and attached to the hotel.

Our room was sparsely furnished with tired furniture. Peeling wallpaper as others have noted. The bathroom looked like it had been updated in recent years, and yet the tile job was pretty rough and the grout was missing in several places. Walls in the room and hall were dingy. Per the signs in the hall I guess they are updating the wiring in the rooms, but there were bare wires in an outlet box on the walls. The carpet on the stairs in the foyer was pretty grimy and the whole look of the place was that of a 1960s hotel that had been given a fresh coat of paint a decade ago and that’s about it. Limited food options in the area…there’s a Boston Pizza attached to the restaurant…enough said. Pool doesn’t open until 9am, which is a bummer for early risers. We saw staff cleaning it around 7:30 and they seemed to be done by 8, so not sure why it doesn’t officially open until later. Staff were friendly, but I should have spent an extra $40 for a room at the Plaza.

It’s a solid good hotel. Everything was clean. Bathroom, lights, furniture - all those were little bit outdated. Swimming pool, sauna area is crowded and small but nice. Having Boston pizza downstairs is convenient. Overall we enjoyed our stay. It’s quiet and convenient.

Good hotel with good price, nice rooms and nice staff, only one thing they should change it, the mattresses of beds are not comfortable, they are hard and I was not able to sleep well. They have nice swimming pool.

It’s a 3 star hotel, so don’t expect it to be a 5 star quality. You get what you pay for, but still it’s worth while I’d say.

Pool area is moldy - this (former motel - and not yet a hotel) place needs an overhaul. Noisy all night - teenagers running along the fire escape screaming. Elevator out of order. Best thing to say is that Boston Pizza is in the building and that was convenient. But would recommend NOT staying there until they have things up to hotel standards.

The pool area and spa were beautiful however they had hours for 18 from 8-10pm but no staff supervised this so kids were running around popping in and out of the hot tub after I had delayed using the area until after it became adult only to relax. No parent supervision either in very hot water. Otherwise beautiful place and BP was a great addition to have a great dinner.

Is this hotel in transition / being renovated? I don't know. Lobby and our specific hotel room were pretty good. Can see wear and tear but new-ish floor tiles and furniture. But overall, worn hallways: carpets, wallpaper, paint, lights, all. Large motel concept place, with two large wings. But older and tired.if they're renovating, I'd suggest being quicker about it - carpets, wallpaper and paint aren't that difficult to complete. Pool was fine. Neighbourhood is quiet / suburban / couple of good small malls. Plus Laval Univ across street.
