Ok for the price.
If you keep in mind the price, it’s not a bad hotel, room is small but big enough, TV again small but big enough, I like the pod style showers, some don’t. W/C was very small but not a place you spend too long. Very thin walls, solo chap next to me was erm… active. I like a firm mattress but this was prison standard, although still an alternative to spending a week at the mother in laws. Fairly clean, short walk to work, close to a few places to eat. Can’t fault it for the price, but it wouldn’t be my first option to stay again. Solid 3.5 / 5

The room is very basic, but fine for a night or two stay for Salford Quays. Clean and fine if you are just going to be sleeping there.

Staff friendly and altho budget, the hotel provided everthing that was needed. Rooms compact but well organised. A kettle tray with tea and coffee was available for a small charge on request. Continental breakfast was good.

Never staying here again, our checkout time was at noon me and my partner was sleeping in bed got woken up to someone coming in our room in the morning which was a cleaner didn’t knock on the door or say anything just walked straight in and straight back out, so our privacy was invaded i wouldn’t stay here again.

We booked via Expedia for two rooms we paid for two rooms later on in the night the hotel tried to take further cash out our account an stated it because the booking was for four rooms , homeless where out side one even went for a number two in the garden area , sinks where blocked and mouse droppings were found along side upside down ladybirds on the floor , to be honest with you I wound not stay here again ok we got the rooms on a booking site 2 rooms for £80 which was good as they are so small and not worth the £140 they asking per room , the place does do food but I’d advise you to go the takeaway next to the shell garage, and don’t think about having the free coffee down stairs from a machine the staff chase you round the hotel for the £1.59 for the coffee ,

Everthing was perfect for our stay. At check in the staff were quick & helpful.The location tranport links & shopping were excellent. Although not a unsurmountable problem. I would have preferred the shower door not to be totally clear, it made privacy difficult.

When price is your priority
I assume I selected this hotel because by the time we booked it was both the cheapest and available. If budget is your priority then it'll do but I wouldn't select it again as I felt it was too basic. My wife certainly wasn't impressed. The staff were nice but the room feels very bare bones. The compact toilet cubicle, which has a 1 inch gap at the bottom of the door, ensures that every bathroom experience is a shared experience. It also needs an extractor. Also, having the sink in the room, because there is no actual bathroom makes it feel a little bit like being on D-Wing (I assume). The shower cubicle seems fine but overall I think this is for someone who absolutely wants the cheapest they can find. I'd bring your own pillow because the one provided is quite insubstantial.
