I requested a room with a balcony and was told that I did not order that type of room and there was none available. Was also shocked that each room wasn’t provided with complimentary water bottles but yet had some for sale for $8.00 a bottle. When I asked the front desk the lady was rude with attitude and advised me that I could get water for any of the bars for a fee. Next time I visit SA, I will ensure to stay at another property with better services.

It was ok. Front desk was blah when interacting with them. Room want really clean didn’t get free bottle of wine had to ask. If you wanted to store anything in the fridge you would have to take out the things you had to pay for(mini bar) to store things. Only delight was the valet staff. Hotel smells nice and great ambiance.

Good: the valet guys were terrific! Gave us food and travel recommendations, all nice guys. Area around the hotel was clean and easy to navigate. Bad: 1. There was a large group at the hotel at the same time, they were loud, obnoxious, and really took over dining areas, elevators, and the patio. I was sitting on the patio area reading one evening and a lady from the group came out and said to me- we took over this area last night, expect the same tonight so you might want to leave. Just rude. The hotel has to know, they were all ridiculous and loud at checkin. 2. I didn’t realize the enormous amount of taxes here- 8 taxes listed on my receipt. Would be nice to know ahead of time. 3. Our Riverwalk view that we paid extra for- we were the end room, overlooking mostly the street, and the windows have slats on them so you’re seeing the “view” 2 inches at a time between the slats. 😩
