The hotel location was excellent with easy access to the Riverwalk and downtown San Antonio. The way the hotel is situated its a little strange the way the entrance and lobby are right around the corner with no parking lot. I read on other reviews that the valet parking was expensive but $40 a day is about average and in my opinion worth the convenience. I found other parking nearby for $25-30 a day but decided on valet. The room was very nice clean, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was very good and but the coffee was weak and not very same with water for tea. It was worth the price.

Worst stay.
Horrible. Sheets were stained with pee. Bugs in room including lizard and gf said she felt something crawling overnight. Previous people that stayed left cloths and was still there. Housekeeping walked in on us check out date 2 hours before check out time and not even a knock or anything.

Do not stay here!!
If you chose to self park, it was across the street under an overpass that was literally full of homeless people and prostitution. There was no fence or security for your vehicles. You had to go out there at MIDNIGHT every night to renew your parking, and there was an active drug deal happening when I went. There was trash and broken furniture all around the pool area, and the pool itself was gross. The lobby and elevators had an overwhelming smell of weed. The room across from mine had a loud and angry argument going on at 1 in the morning. There was also an obvious meth head wondering the halls. The rooms were very small and dirty.

Nice but not clean
The hotel does not have parking available. For a (huge) fee, they can valet park for you. There is a parking meeter for about 10 cars if you get lucky to park just outside of the hotel’s front doors. Parking under the bridge or in a parking lot is risky. A hotel stayer had her car broken into while parked in a lot close by. Our hotel room had hair around the shower, pee drops in front of the toilet, and old towels hanging on hooks behind the door. The lobby’s tables were dirty in between the creases and sticky. The hotel room felt dirty after seeing all of this. The ice machine on the 3rd floor did not work so we had to go to the 2nd floor for ice. The hotel was a 10 minute walk to the river walk. The hotel staff was kind and inviting. All in all- I would not stay here again due to the lack of cleanliness.

King size bed with queen size, comforter, and bedspread on it. Husband and I struggled all night back-and-forth to share the blanket. In the morning when I called it to the attention of the staff at the front desk, she stated “oh well we must’ve run out of blankets for king size beds”. Traveler beware, there is no parking at the hotel.
