The name displayed on the Hotel (Cypress Inn) was confusing because we were looking for Wyndham Garden. The only way we knew we were at the right hotel was a small unloading sign in front. Expedia & the hotel should provide that information to customers.

Hotel is still under renovation. Rooms are nice and new. But walls are thin and can hear footsteps, babies crying and sliding glass door open from other rooms. I was in a connecting room on the third floor. So if I come back, I will request only rooms on the top floor.

They are currently renovating. So you could not sit outside and enjoy the scenery except for the pool area. My room was nice. Restaurant was nice. When all renovations are completed it will get more stars.

Property under remodal, rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Spa was out of service. Path to the river walk needs to be cleaned up, revamped. Customer service was absent.

Beautiful property in a good location. Top half is being renovated(you wouldnt even know) but some stuff is closed due to it.

Wonderful stay!
We truly enjoyed our stay at the Wyndham. The only downside, which is temporary, but did affect our trip, is that it was under construction. We were looking forward to sitting outside and enjoying the views of the riverfront, but weren’t able to do to the construction. Everything is else was fabulous! Our room was perfect for our family of four. We enjoyed the restaurant one morning for breakfast, then the next in our room via room service. It was centrally located which was perfect!

This hotel is literally under construction. Its not a renovation, it is under construction. Dust everywhere, the lobby is being built, the front desk is in a small hallway. Sheets of plastic hanging, tools and building materials. Also I got food poisoning from the hotel restaurant, I should have known better than to eat there. It looks like it will be a nice hotel when it its finished being built. Don't go there now.

Wait till renovations are done.
The room itself was great. Everything else was two thumbs down. Parking is tiny and if it runs out, you gotta park across the street. My whole point of this location was to have access to the river walk and be able to walk to the Pearl and river center mall since it's right in the middle (distance wise). Since they are in the middle of renovations, I had to walk a few blocks around the hotel to the river. No access through the hotel. I'm sure things will be great in a couple of months when they are done renovating. For now, stay away.

My partner and I went there for a weekend in San Antonio. The whole building was under construction and there weren’t any soft closings on any door so there was constant noise and doors slamming. We picked a room with a balcony and view of the river walk however, our room was situated in front of a dog area so our view was obstructed. Finally, when we came back most nights we noticed the front desk attendant sleeping in the office. We probably won’t be coming back.
