Great place to stay, feels like you're in the mountains near Poas and close enough to the capitol city of San Jose. Easy access to the area without the busy hustle of a populated area or the city. Great service at the restaurant and delicious food.

We stayed at Casa Villa for one night on our way to La Fortuna with our family of five. We had to book two cabins, but they were adorable with a loft-like design. The bedrooms were upstairs, while the ground floor had a small living area. The on-site restaurant served great food, and the staff was wonderful. The only downside was the location right next to the road, so the noise from trucks and cars driving by throughout the night was quite loud.

This was a beautiful property with hiking trails on-site. The restaurant was excellent with fair prices. Breakfast included was top notch. The cabin was cozy and had a fireplace stocked with wood and a fire starter kit. The only issue we had was the bed was extremely firm.

It’s lovely! The staff are so kind, friendly and helpful. The food is great in the restaurant. The rooms are lovey and clean and cosy. The resident peacocks are a bonus as one did his display for us shaking his tail and looking glorious! The hummingbird feeders outside the cabins is a nice touch. Thank you.

The staff was really friendly. The breakfast is 7-11am and you order one dish from a selection of around 6. There was no heat or AC. There was a refrigerator. The shower had only cold water.

Great place close to Poas Volcano and La Paz falls
It was a great loaction to be able to yo hit Poas volcano, La Paz waterfall gardens, and/or cinchino waterfalls the next morning. Staff was great, food was great.
