The place overall was nice but very outdated. There was a strong smell could not make out if it was drain sewer or humidity. When I mentioned it to the front desk all they did was spray lemon Lysol in the room.

The room service did come to clean everyday, but i think all they did was change out the towels, and make the bed again. The first day we came back from the beach and there was sand in the restroom due to it being on our clothes, It was sandy on the toilet and especially the floor of course. The bathroom stayed in that condition. It has not been vacuumed nor mopped at all so our entire stay we had a sandy bathroom. And the bed sheets were not changed at all the bed was just made everyday. From the first night we experienced waking up with little bites all over our bodies. We thought it was forsure a mosquito so we didnt think much of it. When we started to notice we only got the bites in the bed, i looked up bed bug bites. They look exactly like ours. The staff in the downstairs dining hall was a complete joke. The server was sat down half the time meanwhile there were things that our table needed. She was very rude and had a super nasty face while serving us. Overall i expected more from this hotel and was not pleased. The outside to the beach ia beautiful but i think that might have been thw only thing we enjoyed here

Lovely property but could stand to be updated. I had a partial ocean view room, which was ok except the view was not good. I had an unobstructed view of the side of an old rusty, worn down apartment building. Total eyesore. Not happy about this!

Marriott Isla Verde beach resort was amazing!! The staff was very helpful and accommodating. They have restaurants in the facility, they have a gym, a beautiful pool. They also have espresso and non-dairy milk. I loved loved how close we were to the beach. It was a beautiful experience at Courtyard and I’m definitely coming back to catch some rays and enjoy this resort again.

This is the second time I’ve stayed here. I love the convenience of the pool and beach being right downstairs. However, the prices have gone very high on food and drinks that aren’t worth it. The all you can eat buffet is very mediocre, the waffles and pancakes were hard as if they’ve been reheated. The breakfast does not have much options, therefore the price shouldn’t be $27.99 pp. In addition, the food isn’t all that good from the menu by the pool or dining area, the chicken tasted as if it were canned or reheated, very overpriced for the quality. The alcohol drinks were also pretty overpriced and watered down. I love this resort but the quality of food and drinks have to match the ambiance.

I stayed here at the beginning of September 2024. The room needed to be cleaned more thoroughly, but I always bring my own Lysol spray and wipes. Staff were really nice. Only downside was the renovations in the lobby but we only noticed when walking to the pool. Watch out for the birds outside because they will steal your food. But my overall stay was not bad at all. I would stay here again.
