Upon arriving we were well received by the Hotel staff. I had called prior to arrival for a possible early check-in since our flight arrived at 10 am in San Juan from NYC JFK. He listened to my concern and he made notes in reservation pertaining to issue. He explained hotel policy. I highly recommend the Hilton Hampton Inn and everyone on premises was welcoming, happy to assist and quite proud of their jobs.
Ms. Maeling Chung Front Office Manager was attentive to our concerns when a guest in the evening interrupted my sleep. The next morning after breakfast she explained that the guest was on the wrong floor and inebriated. The cook Jose at the Poolside Grill is an excellent cook and very professional. The young ladies as well on staff 10/23 -10/28 as well. The staff at the buffet breakfast are also attentive and I have never seen such an elevated high work ethic. Overall everyone on the premises are truly dedicated and professional. Our suite was also properly cleaned and left impeccable. It was an amazing experience and made my husband and I a gay couple very well treated in Spanish and English. We were so impressed with service,delighted & surprised with a Happy Hour as well. As we have stayed before with Hampton Inn in upstate NY and Hilton in NYC the beds are comfortable, white linens perfect and towels. The Hilton in Cartagena de Indias as well was a success in terms of the level of comfort. My sister recommended it on her travels and I decided to join thru Amex. Five ✨
