We had a good stay! Staff was friendly. Toilet was a little messed up and just a little upset about the “continental breakfast..” it’s just bagels and nothing else really. You have to pay for a good breakfast, but that’s about it. Love the bar downstairs.

Weekend getaway with
Absolutely loved it, clean, close to everything. Staff was nice, only negative was the breakfast ran out quick and they didn’t replenish because they didn’t have any more. Overall great experience.

I think this is a good hotel especially for business travellers, couples and those looking to do the movie tours. The rooms were clean and spacious though i didn't find the bed very comfortable. The continental breakfast was very basic and there were not many other options within walking distance, apart from a starbucks and average looking breakfast restaurant outside. You can also buy breakfast in the hotel. My only gripe is that continental usually means more than bagels and pastry. The tea and coffee were not great and no drink options for kids unless you pay extra. This is why i dropped a star. The hotel was quirky though with lots of interesting art work. Very romantic and intimate. Great photo opportunities. Staff were friendly and helpful. The best thing though was the close location to the studio tours and Universal. About a 10 minute drive. If you looking for minimal fuss close to the studios then this is not a bad option especially given the price. The pool was very small. Maybe on for small children but not really for older kids that want to swim and splash about. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Our AC did not work, staff was informed. Staff came to the room twice and then finally after 8-9 hours we got a different room. Television remote didn’t work in one room, toilets also have issues flushing
