Excellent location for doing things like Cedar Point amusement park. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff, Angel especially, was friendly, welcoming and helpful. And there were signs of pets being eaten in Sandusky either!

The staff were extremely friendly, and it was nice to have breakfast every morning. The staff for replenishing breakfast were very helpful and accommodating, as well as the front desk staff. We had a large room deemed a suite as it had two queens and a pullout. However, the room was not very clean very dirty in all of the trim on the door, etc.. We were there for four days so when we asked for towels and just a touch up on the second day, absolutely nothing had been cleaned up or touched just new towels left behind. There were no replacements of soap, etc., or anything washed. An extremely convenient location with a well-maintained pool and courtyard at the back with a gas fire pit, which made for a nice spot to sit.

Love this place
We have stayed here before and it is always nice. It would be nice if they had more light in the rooms. Ours only had two lamps and as someone with low vision extra lights would have helped. The room was big and spacious- there was room for a couch or a table and chairs to sit and eat at! Check in and out was quick and easy and the staff is so helpful. Breakfast was always hot and kept full.

Awesome experience staying at this property. Super friendly staff. Great breakfast. Love the outdoor fire place and the quietness of the neighborhood. The building is a bit old and the carpets may need shampooing but overall, it was a comfortable stay.

This was a great hotel for a quick one night stay so that we could go to Cedar Point the next day. They have a nice pool and fire pit area. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was great and there’s a delicious Mexican restaurant right across the street.

I was optimistic based on prior reviews but should have trusted my gut. . . Upon arrival there was another guest asking for a refund and leaving. I should have followed her lead. When we got to the room it smelled like mildew and was damp. After a day at the park I went straight for the shower. The water was hot and pressure was good but within minutes I was standing in inches of water. The shower curtain was dirty and stained. The beds were terrible. They were so worn you could feel a dip where people have slept. I have NEVER had a hotel bed this bad. The AC was noisy and sounded like a muffled helicopter. Staff wasn't rude but they weren't necessarily friendly. When checking out the next morning and asked about my stay I expressed concerns and there was no apology or empathy offered at all just a "I'll let maintaince know". I don't often write reviews or say this but I will not return here.
