Nestled behind adobe walls on the fabled historic Eastside, this three-bedroom hideaway is filled with classic Santa Fe style and charm. Handsome brick and wide-plank hardwood floors, sturdy ceiling vigas, decorative corbels, antique wood doors, warming kiva fireplaces, graceful archways, and Talavera-inspired tile work contribute to an ambiance that is distinctly New Mexican, and the décor and appointments have been carefully chosen over many years to include works by local artists and artisans representing the city’s distinctive cultures.

Contemporary conveniences include heating and air conditioning, whole-house Wi-Fi, DVRs, Netflix, Sonos, and ample covered and uncovered off-street parking. The compound’s coyote gate is remote-controlled, contributing to the sense of security and serenity. The esteemed galleries and restaurants of Canyon Road—as well as the Downtown Subscription coffee shop—are steps away, while the historic Plaza and other attractions can be reached in minutes.

LIVING AREA
The skylit central living area accommodates ten people comfortably and includes a piano, fireplace, and a television. A queen sleeper sofa is available, offering flexible sleeping arrangements.

The house that has it all
This house has been on my radar for about 10 years. My friends always had it booked for the entire month of August forever (they finally built a house in SF) the house has it all: charming decor, plenty of room, off street parking television that lets you actually see live local news, equipped kitchen, SUPER soft king beds and location location location! All boxes checked. Clean to the point of fastidious. The management was very accessible without intruding. Worth every penny

First of all, this home is gorgeous and decorated like I wish my home was! Super cozy, well laid out, kitchen had everything we needed. Could not be cleaner- it was spotless. This home is everything it appears to be. Absolutely beautiful interior, spotlessly clean, high-end kitchen appliances, perfect location just a block from a cute bookstore and coffee shop, a short walk from art galleries, quick drive to city center. Bedding is high-end, very comfy. Old houses are often drafty or worn out — this was warm throughout and in beautiful condition. The furnishings are gorgeous. The property manager is very responsive. We had no problems of any kind and would stay here again in a heartbeat. Please note that guests 7/8 will be sleeping on a sleeper sofa in living room as this is not 100% clear on listing.

We spent a weekend at this house with 5 ladies. It was perfect! Clean with a historic layout and decor. We loved it! We could have fit 6 people comfortably. 8 would have been a little tough but there are pull out couches. This house was perfect for us! Very easy to check in and out!

We truly enjoyed our New Mexico get away. The house was so well appointed with every detail being considered. In each of the guest rooms, the beds offered true comfort from sheets to pillows to mattress. The soaps, shampoos, and body wash were really appreciated by our daughters who all forgot their shampoo. We cooked each day and the kitchen had everything we needed. The historic house had charm as well as comfort. One of our group already tried to book this house again. (unfortunately it was already rented)
