Reception staff were very helpful and friendly. The air conditioning wasn't cool enough (I usually find it too cold). The bed wasn't comfortable and the springs were noisy. The person on the grill at breakfast was not friendly, was absent for quite some time and there was a lineup for fried eggs. Overall it was a good stay and the negatives didn't bother us.

As soon as we saw the horrible Standard room we were offered and the mould in the shower we complained. We were taken to see an upgraded room that was dearer which was supposed to have been refurbished as it had been used by people who had Covid but the bathroom had not been touched and again there was mould in the shower. The Manager agreed that we did not have to stay and that our money would be refundid, which it was thank you.

Loved the property in terms of service , cleanliness and connectivity to surfers paradise due to the tram stop near by. The staff is very friendly and supportive. Highly recommeded.

Cannot complain about the rooms, large bathrooms, TV’s and balcony's. Buffet Breakfast we had to wait for 10 minutes as they were running late. Maybe short staffed? One staff member was straightening pool furniture when they should had been helping with breakfast set up. The buffet hot food is pretty basic and bland. Scrambled eggs and sausages were less than ‘truck stop’ quality but the cereal options and fruit salad was varied and fresh. We experienced a wait of 15 minutes to contact room service for in room dining due to ‘lack of staff’ which was very inconvenient and disappointing, more staff please as that is why we stay here for customer service. We even tried ringing the external number but no one answered at reception, the bar, restaurant or room service. Sadly after 3 times staying here, it will be our last as customer service and attention to detail doesn’t equal our expectation when a good view can be found in many other accommodations.

Ac was quite poor, and the room was too hot; minumum temp said 20 but theres no way it was that. Consequently we had to open the balcony door as an alernative, and the noise meant the much looked forward to lay in was impossible. Felt a bit robbed to be honest.

Pool area, breakfast and dining on-site were all great. Pool would suit family, and breakfast buffet had lots of selection. Right across the road from a tram stop, so easy to get to and from. Mostly quiet. Interior a little tired and shower was too hot (struggled to change temp), but staff were great, bed was fine, and overall would go back. Easy as.

Ten out of ten
Although not often, whenever I stay at the Gold Coast my first lodging choice is at Crowne Plaza, one tram stop north of Broadbeach. Secure indoor parking, large extremely clean rooms with very comfortable bedding, quiet, attentive polite staff, extremely appetising prepared and served food. Ten out of ten.
