Tucked in the hills and trees just north of the Santa Fe Plaza (1.5 miles), this free-standing 470 sq ft casita provides beautiful seclusion. Furnished with Santa Fe style. Comfy queen bed with memory foam mattress. Bright windows overlooking the hills and trees. You have the feeling of seclusion while being close to skiing, hiking, restaurants and the sights and sounds of the Plaza. Equipped with very fast internet, this is a great place for a staycation. A quiet setting in a secure and safe neighborhood. Air conditioned and heated with a split heat pump--cozy all year 'round.

John's Casita is a great place to stay. My wife and I loved it and being pet friendly just made it perfect. The location is Great beautiful and quiet. Ideal property!
I really can't say enough nice things about this property! The location is in a quiet, beautiful neighborhood about 10 minutes from the Plaza. The property was extremely clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. A question was answered within minutes. A handy book of instructions and things to know was available as well as brochures for area attractions. There were snacks-a very nice touch-and wine as well. I highly recommend this property!

This is a lovely studio just 15 minutes (walking) from the historic Santa Fe plaza. The owner is considerate and gracious, and the property is comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here!

OMG!
This casita was perfect! Starting with the location, not too far from the main city, but far enough away that you have an abundance of nature. Next, the host is on property. He greeted us as we arrived. Then he offered to bake us pastries for breakfast the next morning. WOW! Yes, please! Inside the casita is an array of snacks, coffee pods, a bottle of wine, and 2 bottles of sparkling water in the fridge. Amazing. The bed is super comfy! The shower head is very nice. The TV is huge! And my dogs had the best walks of their lives. So much nature was around us. Our dog met a deer for the first time ever. He was in awe. So were we. John has an excellent property with awesome amenities. Thanks so much!

Cute quaint cozy casita for nesting in woods

We had a fabulous stay…every accoutrement was considered. The neighborhood was silent and beautiful, except for the snow, robins and finches! We were treated to surprise foods as well. John even gave my dog Teddy salmon treats! 100 stars!

Walking to the plaza a stretch
Excellent accommodations, everything you might need is provided. The host was very available and helpful. The distance to the plaza is only 1.4 miles, but most of that is walking on streets, not sidewalks. So a reasonable walk distancewise, but not really inviting and no need for that to be a headline for this otherwise perfect casita.

The perfect home base while exploring Santa Fe
John’s casita was perfect for our vacation to Santa Fe. We traveled with our two dogs and had plenty of room. The bathroom and kitchen areas were both spacious along with the living area. John provided snacks and pastries for us - such a thoughtful and kind touch! The neighborhood was beautiful and we felt very safe. It is close to the Plaza and easy to head out to the mountains.

The property is exactly what it is advertised to be. Owner extremely hospitable, even delivering fresh baked croissants that first morning. Very safe, conveniently located to all attractions in Santa Fe. The outside table and chairs is such a nice touch, especially for early morning quiet contemplation.

Beautiful neighborhood.
Clean, comfortable, and beyond expectation with tasty snacks and refreshments upon arrival …plus a delicious pastry the first morning! Well equipped kitchen. Nice sized space …quiet and private. Appreciated the good lighting and bedside tables. We enjoyed sitting on the private back patio, set in a beautiful desert pine forest. Easy drive to downtown Santa Fe. We hope to stay here again.

Santa Fe Get-a-way
This little casita had all we could desire and more. The space was adequate and we loved that we could bring our pups with us. Thoughtful touches surprised us all weekend long. I had a wonderful experience, and I would definitely stay here again. The location is in one of my favorite places in Santa Fe- It feels both secluded and is close to everything. The casita itself is very well done. Moreover, the thoughtfulness and care that the hosts put into this rental is truly exceptional. Everything from providing chips and salsa, both an espresso and a coffee machine, baked goods in the morning, and a later checkout due to luck in scheduling- this is an unparalleled level of hospitality. Nice Neighborhood
Although it is cute the room feels like a motel. The bathroom is very small and the hot water ran out on me before I could rinse my hair. Moving the car up next to the road was annoying. My partner didn't find the bed, which dominates the room, very comfortable. I had to watch television from the bed as there was only one, sort of comfortable, chair and there was no headboard to lean against. The price was high for what it was.

Great overall experience
It's a very nice casita that is conveniently located. It was quite ideal for my little family that includes two well behaved dogs. I found the owner to be lovely and approachable though definitely without overdoing it like many do. Great stay, will be back for sure.
