I booked and Ocean Front room based on the photo off the Expedia AND THE SHERATON website. It shows a view directly over the beach. Despite multiple inquiries and dissatisfaction, (and a variety of unsatisfactory answers) I was placed in an Ocean View room, located behind cabanas, the pool, and the beach bar. The $40/day “Resort Fee” had no impact on the $100/day fees for umbrellas and beach chairs or expensive snorkeling equipment. The Happy Hour music from the beach bar was too loud.

Gorgeous views of Black Rock and Kaanapali Beach from our balcony. Beautiful sunsets. The best snorkeling is at Black Rock. We saw a dozen spotted rays, lots of turtles, and hundreds of fish in the coral reef past the diving rocks. Walk to Whaler's Village for dining and shopping. The best resort on the best beach!

I stayed in Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa for 3 nights. The second day, they forgot to clean up my room. I called one time at 3pm and they told me they will come a few mins. But I waited that until 5:45pm nobody showed up to clean my room. So, I must go to the front desk to request service my room. I’m not a fan of writing all sorts of reviews, but in this case I want to share my impressions from the point of view of an elderly person: amazing attitude towards us from the first to the last moment, thank you dear Irene and Ivy for doing above and beyond to upgrade us to the most comfortable room, taking into account our needs. Thank you dear Betty! thanks to you our room sparkled with cleanliness and freshness! for providing us with everything we needed! For those who like to swim and snorkel in sea water: amazing! crystal clear water with striped fishes and turtles that are not afraid of people! sandy beach and sandy bottom, convenient to get in and out - important if you are over 65.. Unlimited beach towels. For pool lovers: great! a lot of sun loungers, the pool is large and has different depths: gradually up to 1.5m and up to 2.5m, which is great for tall people. The water is always fresh and clean. Complementary Trolley bus will take you to the Whaler Village for shopping and to visit restaurants or to buy food in the ABC stores. With UBER about $10 to Safeway. From and to the airport about 45 min, UBER $82-$92. Finally: we had a great vacation, and of course we are already planning to come to our Sheraton next May!

We had a relaxing stay at the Sheraton Maui, the resort is clean and staff are friendly. Shopping and other restaurants are walking distance.
