Circle Drive Venice Island Pool Home a Short Walk To Your Own Private Beach!

Our Venice Island home is less than 2 blocks off the beach and has been a short term vacation rental for the past 14 years. Unlike many, we are a legally licensed and inspected City of Venice vacation rental.
The TLC is evident from the moment you arrive. Lush landscaping greets you as you pull in the driveway and the warm feeling of home continues as you walk through the front door. The sunken living room is well furnished with that tropical feel of Tommy Bahama tables, comfy loveseat and couch and a large TV for those quiet evenings at home. The kitchen is equipped with virtually everything you'll need to whip up that gourmet dinner which you can enjoy in your dining room or poolside in your private lanai. Three bedrooms await in the split plan layout. Located on one side of the house is the master suite which is comprised of a private water closet/shower/bath, a walk-in closet and a large vanity/sink area to prep for those evenings out or to just retire to your king size bed. On the opposite side of the house are two large bright bedrooms with a shared full bath in between. Each bedroom has a queen size bed, ceiling fans overhead and plenty of storage.

Enjoy Swimming? Spend your days at your own private heated pool or stroll a block and a half away to your own private beach - the choice is yours! Enjoy biking? Venice is full of great trails and paths that can take you all the way to Sarasota or if you like an easier, shorter pace then just amble your way around the island on the provided bikes. Enjoy walking? You can go south to Sharky's - one of the best Tiki Beach Bars in Florida - to enjoy that afternoon cocktail or walk north to Venice Avenue for lunch or that evening meal at one of the many restaurants. So many choices and so little time!

Caution: If you are not familiar with Venice, be sure you understand the difference between a Vacation Home on Venice Island and homes located off the Island of Venice that claim to be close to beaches and downtown Venice.

Great location. Wonderful private beach. Ample beach accessories and bikes. Wonderful hosts. Could use some update/cleaning of living room furniture. Pool was nice, but a little bit cold even with solar cover, only got to about 82.7 degrees. Only one complaint about Venice area…constant noise from small aircraft’s flying overhead from nearby airport.

BEST VACATION HOUSE EVER!

Wonderful house and location. Hosts have thought of everything. Just bring your swimsuit and appetite. We brought our 2 dogs, the property was perfect for them with the enclosed courtyard. With plenty of places to walk them too. Just a wonderful location

This is a wonderful beach home! Very clean and well maintained. It was stocked with everything you would need. We really enjoyed the patio/pool area and used it daily. The beach was also wonderful and just a short walk away. The owners are very responsive to questions, and they left a welcoming gift on the counter for us when we arrived-we thought that was very sweet! We would definitely stay again!

Beautiful Venice Beach home

Our second stay at Circle Dr. did not disappoint! We felt right at home, my husband is recuperating from an A-fib episode, this large, beautiful, quiet, clean and tastefully decorated home worked wonders for him. Relaxing by the pool even on rainy days felt heavenly. Our wedding anniversary was extra special this year. Property owners go out of their way to make guests feel comfortable and welcome. Perfection

We are hesitant to give a good review because we want this house available for our future visits! We have stayed at multiple houses in Venice over the years and this one takes the cake. The location is perfect for the beaches (including the quietest private beach). The bikes in the garage made for an easy pedal to the beach each evening for sunset. The door to the pool open wide and there is a kid fence that helped corral our toddlers. The owners truly care that you have a nice visit and the house has everything you could need. We look forward to many stays here in the future!

Perfect location

This was my first time using VRBO. This property was perfect. With having twin 8-year-olds I wanted a pool and a house close to the beach so we wouldn't have sand all over the vehicle. This house again was perfect for that. Pool was 80 degrees, so the kids had fun swimming well after dark. The private entrance to the beach was amazing!! The hosts were great! I booked this house 11 months in advance and every time I emailed them they always responded right away. I had to call them when we arrived, and they answered right away, and everything was fixed. The host stayed on the phone with me to make sure it was all good. Easy access into the house, using my phone number as the code. They had everything you need for the beach including towels, toys, tools for finding shells, coolers. They had 6 bikes. It was also close to downtown. My oldest son and his gf were able to walk downtown to explore. Loved every bit of staying here. It was the perfect Christmas!!

Fantastic location and property

Our hosts Chris and John were amazing. Right from day one their communication was excellent and when we arrived there was a nice note with a fruit basket waiting for us and then a brief visit to ensure we were OK.They are just the best! The property itself is very well equipped with everything you might want and all the usual facilities you need, washer, dryer etc etc. The pool area is very relaxing with plenty of space, chairs and sun loungers with the pool itself set to a very nice temperature and beautifully. lit at night. The location of the property is perfect, just a few minutes walk or 1 minute drive from the beach. Walking into Venice High street takes a little longer but it's only a 2-3 minute drive and there are plenty of restaurants closely and further afield.

Far exceeded our expectations!

The house is perfect! The right amount of space, comfortable, very clean, and had everything we needed. The pool is amazing! The beach access was so close and private. We only saw one couple at the beach two times during our stay. Other than the two times we had the beach all to ourselves. Having bikes available was nice for my teenagers to go out and explore. The house was close to everything. Nice, quiet neighborhood that felt very safe. Enjoyed staying here and will definitely try to make it back!!!

Wonderful stay

The house is amazing! in a very quiet and safe neighborhood. Super clean, spacious, tastefully decorated. Plenty of supplies, beach chairs, umbrellas, wagon, toys. Pool is heavenly. Being able to park inside the garage in this insane heat is a big plus! Pet friendly another big Plus for us. Owners respond fast. If I had to complaint, it would be about the A/C keeping the house cool not cold but then again we've been having extreme heat with very high heat index, which could be the case here. Notice it is not uncomfortable inside the house! We had a wonderful time and were able to celebrate our wedding anniversary in a relax atmosphere. We will return again in the near future and we do highly recommend this rental.

A wonderful home

We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this to others. We stayed for 10 days and really enjoyed the location and facilities. The house was well stocked with everything you need. The kitchen had plenty of utensils and cookware as well as all the necessary appliances (coffee maker, blender, toaster, I think there was a crockpot also) we needed. The living room had a large TV with DISH cable so we could watch the basketball games! They also had 6 very nice bicycles (we used two of them, they were Schwinns) as well as 6 beach chairs and two sand umbrellas. They even had some beach toys for the kids. The owners were super accommodating and very responsive. We had a 2-year-old and they even had a pack-and-play for her. The pool was wonderful - the kids played all day - and the lanai had a nice table and lounge chairs to relax and watch them. The beach is about a 6-minute walk and very quiet since it's a private entrance. The only comment I would make is that the King Size bed in the primary bedroom was a little on the soft side so if you like a very firm bed, beware. We had no problems with it, we slept fine. We would definitely return. Venice is a beautiful town with a lot of great restaurants and shopping and the beach was wonderful. Thank you John and Chris for letting us share your beautiful home!
