Room was clean, staff friendly, The pool was heated, the hot tub “hot”, breakfast was kind of standard with scrambled eggs, sausage, make your own waffles, toast, cereal, muffins, juices, yogurts and some oranges. Two items kept this from being a 5 star happy review: 1. Doors, when closing, were very noisy. We could hear our neighbors doors and the exit door (which was convenient but for this case, added to the problem) bang shut whenever someone came or left. Ours was just as noisy when closing and probably bothered others as well. 2. The coffee, both the Keurig type pods in the room and the coffee served at breakfast, was awful. I’m a coffee drinker and I drink it black no sugar. Everywhere. So be prepared if you are like me and bring your own pods or get it before you go or plan to go out for it.

The staff was great for check in and check out, very helpful and courteous. For the room it was okay....a little disappointed that I couldn't change the temperature of my room, it was set and couldn't be adjusted. My bathroom looked like it had water damage, rusty around the door frame and the shower was all caulked and rusty looking. There was shampoo/conditioner/body lotion offered, but no liquid soap....just small bar soap. My clock on the nightstand was set at the wrong time and I couldn't fix it, there were no batteries in it and it couldn't be unplugged. There were no gluten free or dairy free options or any pastries of any kind for breakfast, so we decided to eat out instead. Would I stay at a Comfort Suites again, probably not...I'd stick with my go to, Holiday Inn Express.

Over all the stay was okay. My first impression walking in the front desk lady was absolutely rude, if I didn’t book online I most definitely would have found another place to stay. Other than that everything was fine. The room was nice but kinda gross at the same time. Our room had brownish stuff splashed all over the walls and trim of the door of the door in the bathroom. Right between the tv and the desk, there was also a substance on the wall. Normally I would be like oh well we are human we miss things, but it was bad enough there was no way to miss it.

The reception staff was very helpful, moving me to another room due to a few minor issues in the first room. The room was clean. The breakfast room staff were very friendly and helpful too, as were the cleaning staff.
