Wonderful stay! I will bring my family back again!! Check in lady was awesome! Our rooms were very nice clean and the beds were comfortable! Location is a plus you can walk to the Soo locks, shopping and restaurants. My husband spoke to the owner he was very nice! Very nice location!!

GREAT LOCATION
I booked it online, it is right on the U.S. & CANADA BORDER, ON THE U.S. SIDE,the hotel is located right dab in the middle of town, surrounded by Restaurants, coffee houses, gift shops ect and SUE LOCK BOAT TOURS, also museums, all of this is walking distance. located across the hotel is the sue locks , you can hear all the boat horns and see all the ships !!!! it's amazing , I will be back. BUT THE ROOM WASNT GREAT, REALLY OUTDATED, LIGHTING WAS POOR, BATHROOM SUPER SMALL, BUT GREAT HOT WATER AND WATER PRESSURE. THE ROOM ITSELF WASNT DIRTY , JUST REALLY OLD. IF YOU CAN LOOK PAST THAT IT IS OUTDATED, YOU WILL LOVE IT. I WILL RETURN AGAIN

What I want most in a motel is cleanliness and this room was very clean. It is directly across the street from the Soo Locks. There are 3 hooks for hanging clothes and no drawers, but for a quick trip, we wouldn’t want or need to unpack anyway and there are benches to put luggage on. It worked out just fine. I would recommnd this place to anyone.

This is the best place we stayed on our whole trip down to Michigan from the Great State of Alaska! We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend the Lockview to one and all. The staff is great, friendly and helpful. The property is convenient to all area attractions. The Soo Locks are within easy viewing and walking distance. Parking is roomy and convenient. A very welcoming place! ❤️❤️❤️

The Lockview is a great place to stay in The Soo! Convenient, safe, and quiet with great access to the locks and area attractions. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend to friends and family. We love the UP!!

We paid $460. for two nights. Our room was tiny with no closet or place to hang clothes, the microwave cord was too short to plug into an outlet, the water was cold, and the internet was spotty. We had to ask for a waste basket and also for a hair dryer.

Not a good stay
The front desk lady was super nice. However the rest of the motel was awful. Bugs everywhere, smelled like dog pee, the bed sheets seemed like they werent wash - found a lot of debris and hair. While we went to get food, it seemed like the crew came inside to turn off our ac and left the door unlocked. Bed wasnt comfortable. The location was good, but that was about it

Centrally located to downtown it’s easy to walk or get a taxi. There is no elevator but there is no shortage of first floor rooms or cabins. The curtains do not fully block light so for a single guy I could work around it but a modist woman will find it disconcerting.
