Overlooking Oglethorpe Square, this bright and stately townhouse has two-bedrooms and one-and-a-half baths and is able to accommodate up to six Lucky guests. This property can be combined with the Oglethorpe Square Garden Apartment to accommodate up to eight guests.

The second level entrance brings you into the parlor level, which has a multitude of rich architectural details, including original hardwood floors, twelve-foot ceilings, and decorative fireplaces. On this floor you’ll find the half bathroom, and fully renovated kitchen with marble countertops and a gourmet gas stove. Adjacent to the kitchen is dining room with a convenient buffet. This floor also has a king-sized bedroom, with floor-to-ceiling windows providing a view of Oglethorpe Square.

Upstairs you’ll find the living area, with lots of space to relax and a large flat screen TV. A built-in desk provides a quiet nook for the digital nomad to get some work done before a day of exploring Savannah. The full bathroom has a tub/shower combo, and plenty of counter space to get ready for an evening out. The second bedroom has a queen bed, TV, and lovely built-in bookshelves sure to make any bibliophile envious.

This home is ideally located within a short walk to many of Savannah’s historic points-of-interest and incredible selection of dining options. Try the Conquistador sandwich at Zunzi’s, made famous by the Travel Channel’s Adam Richman. Have a sweet tooth? An evening stroll to Leopold’s Ice Cream is the perfect way to spend any Savannah evening. You’ll be well situated to explore Savannah’s rich history with the Owens Thomas House and the Davenport House Museum both just a block away.

What a cool historic home, lots of character. The house was in the ideal location for walking to the river and to Forsyth Park. The parking spot in back was much appreciated! We will absolutely stay here again in the future. No complaints! Thanks so much.

Great rental near Historic Downtown!
We really enjoyed our stay. The location was very convenient to downtown area. Having a parking spot was great also. The home was very clean and had lots of charm. The only slight complaint would be that the downstairs shower had very light water pressure, but otherwise, everything as perfect!

This home is wonderful!! If you have a big family I would recommend renting the entire house. The house is in a fabulous location. Safe and you can walk everywhere. We have stayed in this house 2 times and I would stay again and again.

Excellent location
We were generally pleased with this rental. It’s a very nice older townhouse with elegant furniture, four fireplaces, and genuine character and charm. The excellent location conveniently permitted us to easily walk to all the downtown Savannah attractions. We also enjoyed having dedicated off street parking for our vehicle. In regards to room for improvement, the dining room and living room lack windows, and consequently feel quite dark. And considerable TV noise carries up the stairwell from the downstairs unit…soundproofing is needed on that door.

Close, but not quite 5 stars....
I loved this property for the location and the character of the unit, and I think we would stay here again, but there are a few negatives you should know before booking.... The front picture of the property is charming, but you do all your coming and going through an alley in the back. The layout of the property is odd with the kitchen, dining room, half bath and king bedroom on the main level. The upper level has a queen bedroom, den, full bath and desk area. There is another unit below this one, and you can clearly hear the renters talking, the dog barking, and even the beeps from the door keypad. The noises from downstairs didn't keep us up at night, but it would be ideal to rent both units together.
