Check in was an complete disaster. Front desk was rude, yelled and demeaning. She called a supervisor and she was no better even stated to at she would cancel our reservations if we could not wait. Front desk clerk ended up walking out on the job

Great hotel, super awesome staff. Rooms were great. The only reason(s) for the 4 star vs 5 star: Valet wasn't clear on the Orbitz reservation ($30/ night- great rate for the area, but would have been nice to know) Valet was late getting to work on Saturday morning by 30 minutes, I almost missed my event. And the office manager/ valet do not support each other (would have been good if the hotel manager could have pulled my car out). Breakfast was an additional charge. Good spread, but again another additional charge. Great location, easy access to highway. Easy access to downtown. Would definitely stay here again.

Waited over an hour for check in, every staff member I encountered seemed like it was their first day and didn’t know what they were doing. The tv was outdated and had only basic cable with bad picture. The room was not thoroughly cleaned. Breakfast was a joke.

The hotel was good overall. Clean with a nice modern decor. Breakfast on the premises was good with a good variety and at a reasonable price to what we would find elsewhere. It was initially advertised that the breakfast was included, but we received an email that they were under new management and the breakfast was no longer included. The staff was friendly.

Overall the stay was fine. But, we were disappointed when we arrived and learned they did not have a POOL as the pictures had indicated. They had taken it out years ago to put in a fitness center. The front desk person only said "the owners have been trying to take that picture down for a few years..." They did not offer any concessions or free items. My son was disappointed. The hotel put us on the first floor. By 630am, there was a fair amount of noise in the hallway. It almost sounded like metal carts with metal pans hitting a bump and clanking all over. It happened at least five times. Finally, the general upkeep of the hotel was so-so. Lots of apparent knicks in the wood that need to be reapainted/re-stained. The shower head needed some plumbing help as it was spraying water into the ceiling at certain angles.

the floor needs to be washed but the mattress was comfortable. you really should put on the web site that valet parking is located on W Harris st, not Montgomery. a restaurant in the hotel would be great.

The hotel itself was nice. The room I stayed in had a ceiling cassette air conditioner unit dripping water onto the floor with some evidence of mold around it, the fitted sheet did not fit my bed at all and kept coming loose at the corners during the night, and the bathroom appeared to be only halfway cleaned when I arrived. I was in town for a day and a half and busy helping a friend for the entire time so I didn't have the time to ask for a new room. I hope these issues in this room will be rectified for future guests.

Staff is very helpful & polite. We changed original room because of damage to doors. Second room showed similar damages, like someone was using a pry bar to gain access. We mentioned our observations and front desk personnel was very appreciative of the update.
