amazing location - perfect for 2 couples
The location is perfect. We have traveled to Savannah several times - the location is ideal. Short walk to river, city market and Forsyth Park. The kitchen is small but we were able to cook dinner one night - make sure you bring all you need to cook. There is NOT any oil or even salt and pepper. Bring your own coffee grounds - only enough for 1 pot was there for us. Communication with the property management company went well. I wish I had not had to reach out - The property is listed as Non-Smoking.....be careful if you are allergic to smoke (like me) - the tenants smoked below us on their deck - so we were not able to use our outside deck area during our entire visit. The router is housed in the unit above us - and we were unable to use our TV on 2 of our 5 nights because the router was unplugged. Both beds were not comfortable - but tolerable. The king mattress is a futon type mattress - the queen mattress is loud and make a squeaking noise when you make any movement. I LOVED and sought out a tub - it is perfect for a long soak.

A great location for a walking experience of Savannah
You couldn't ask to be in the middle of it. Park the car and let the walking and exploring begin. This phenomenal centralized location access to the great parks and all the restaurants and activities of Savannah has to offer. This location has very comfortable furniture and all the appliances you need to feel at home.

The apartment lived up to our expectations. It is located on Savannah's prettiest square and it's a quick hop over to Forsyth Park. It is well appointed with everything you need to make yourself at home. We were happy to discover closets in both bedrooms (which is not what the description of the property or the property manager reported.) The 2 negatives I find worth pointing out are that first, neither of the beds are very comfortable. My comfort rating (being generous) is 3. New thicker foam mattresses would go a long way! Secondly (less important, maybe trivial) guests are required to take out the garbage at the end of their stay - around the back of the building to an alley. I would expect cleaning staff to do this, not paying guests. I found it a somewhat rude "goodbye". That being said - yes- I would recommend this property provided you're not a finicky a sleeper.

Excellent location
This rental is only one block from Forsyth Park and within walking distance of several excellent restaurants. The only negative I have is that it really needs an external spring cleaning. The outside of the windows that look over the square are really filthy. Also, the porch needs to be hosed off. The cushions on the chairs were so dirty I sat on a towel. They even looked like they had some mold on the cushions.

My friend and I chose this listing for a four day visit to Savannah. We loved the location - in the historic section, across from the most beautiful square in the city Monterey Square. It was just one block from Forsythe Park which meant it was a quieter section of the city. But certainly an easy walk down to the River and nightlife of the City Market. Only hiccup was the information on getting visitor day parking pass. We were told we could get it at the Savannah Visitors Center. Turns out you have to go to the city services center on East Bryant and they are not open on Sunday. So a bit of a process to get the pass on Monday morning. But other than that, the apartment was perfect for a several night stay. Kitchen had lots of small appliances and there were plenty of linens and towels provided. We would definitely consider staying here again

Really Lovely Place Right In The Heart of The Historic District!
This was AN amazing stay for my first time ever experiencing Savannah, Ga. We stayed in this wonderful place, in an almost perfect location! We were extremely close to all the sites and realized after a old trolly bus tour, we drove through our location which was pretty cool to see! Would absolutely recommend! We did experience wishing the property had more towels and there was an old leaky ceiling stain on the Owner’s Suite that was an eye sore but overall, my family and I were very pleased with our stay! 10/10! Parking 101: If you are not from the area, make sure you absolutely read the parking signs/ meters on the side of the streets. The local number I was provided in my VRBO app was more than helpful and available, however, it is vital you pay attention to the days the city performs street sweeps so you will not collect a citation.

Amazing, super clean, beautiful Savannah home!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Park House Parlor on Monterey Square. This home and location checked off everything on our Savannah trip list - cleanliness, centrally located, homey accommodations in a historical neighborhood. This home was so conveniently located to everything we had planned, one of our tour meetup locations was directly across the street at the Pulaski monument in Monterey Square. I highly recommend this property and Lucky Savannah Properties will be our first go-to for accommodations the next time we visit Savannah.

Location, Location, Location
The location is stunning. This unit overlooks beautiful Monterey Square and you can see Mercer House from the front door of the building. This place is a block from the famous fountain in Forsyth Park and it's also a leisurely walk to the historic rive front area and all the shopping. It is far enough from the hoopla of the water front that it is never loud and we could always find parking. It's quite (QUITE) annoying the way that street parking works in this area but we got used to it. They sweep different sides of different streets on different days, and we had to move our car numerous times throughout our stay. The parking right on the square is metered M-F but if you drive a block or two over, there are side streets with free parking (just pay attention to when that specific street/side is scheduled for sweeping so you can move your car before then). We ended up paying $0 for parking simply by moving the car around as needed. There were always spots, and we never had to walk too far. We had such a lovely stay that we extended our visit additional days by contacting the property management. My husband and I had taken some days as vacation and some days as working remote, so we needed to spread out within the unit to do zoom meetings. He dragged a table from the back balcony into the bedroom to use as a desk, and I worked from the dining room table. (Note to the property management company, people need a proper working desk in these apartments for our modern day jobs!) The bathrooms were lovely and the water pressure was good. The whole apartment has a very chill, lovely vibe. The kitchen was lacking compared to other units we've rented. This kitchen, you have to literally switch on the dinky little vent by going into the laundry room and flipping a switch at the circuit breaker. Very minimal supplies, spices, utensils, and overall "cookery" things on hand. There is no garbage disposal in the sink. But there's no denying someone with an exceptionally good idea designed this space - the kitchen is ADORABLE. I suspect we cooked far more in the unit than most visitors do. We had to go buy more dishwasher tabs (to be fair, we were there two full weeks). The bed in the main bedroom is quite low to the floor but the mattress was fine. The view out of the living room windows is like a painting - I couldn't get over how pretty it was. This was a pricey rental, especially with all the fees added in, but it was worth every penny. Magical stay.

Best location in town. On the most elegant square in short walking distance to the other 22 gorgeous squares. Krogers is nearby as are Perc, Cuban Window Cafe, Foxy Loxy, Henny Penny, Sly's Sliders, and many, many more dining spots (including Husk for a grand matched wine meal out).
