This dorm style hotel is quite worn and my room smelled like smoke. Also, there is no elevator so you have to carry all your luggage up steep stairs (the staff did not offer to help). It is a very cheap option for staying in the U District, but you get what you pay for.
This property was so cute and very convenient. We went to the Neptune for a comedy show. It was extremely walkable and has good restaurants around it. For some people it might be a detriment to not have a bathroom but it actually was not bad. The room has a sink in it . Like I said very cute room!!
I love it! The only thing is they don’t have elevator and we had a stroller but, it was very easy to lift it up the stairs as they are wide and secure.
Everything was nice and clean. Cozy and warm. Great location to get to campus. Warning- on game nights loud people in halls all night are easy to hear.
We loved the location and access to UW and all the shops and cafes in the area. The loft was also great to get work done, have a quiet conversation and a cup of tea. The only minor request is if there could be a stack of clean bathmats available in the shower area.
Bed was super comfortable, room itself was surprisingly large! Very convenient if you are attending anything at the U of W or Medical Centre. Lots of great dining options within a few minutes’ walk. Will definitley stay here again.
Absolutely wonderful stay. Friendly host welcomed us for a quick check-in, and allowed us to store our bags after check-out while we visited the UW campus a block away. I can't imagine a more conveniently located spot for anyone visiting UW. I wouldn't look anywhere else for future visits.

Property was meh… needs a lot of upgrades. They need to pull up the carpet. The bedroom furniture could use an upgrade. The area is superb very safe and a lot of options for food. It’s in the middle of a university campus, but I work in education so it was ideal for me. Also since college students stay up late you have a lot of late night options and activities to choose from in walking distance. I rode the public transportation which was very safe. The train stop was filled with students which made me feel safe at night as a woman. Plenty of coffee shops of course and beautiful foliage. This made the aesthetics of the hotel tolerable. The price was also attractive and on brand for the establishment.
The staff was kind and informative. The room we stayed was very clean and cozy. The only concern we noted about our room was the noise level. We could hear doors opening and closing whenever guests get in or out of their rooms, but aside from that, we had a great time in this hotel. The shared living room and kitchen were super clean as well!
