Our modern, mid-century style home offers casual elegance and wonderful views both inside and out. We are ideally situated at the foot of Thunder Mountain, three houses down from the Andante Trail which gives us access to a variety of beautiful, easy to moderate hikes with glorious views.
The architect of the home was thoughtful in it’s orientation and layout, providing dynamite views from both the front and rear of the home, with the hallmark deep eaves of the mid century style offering shady spots for outdoor living. You’ll love the ideal Eastern facing wall of windows and deck spaces for glowing red rock sunsets. The Western facing front patio is the perfect place for a cup of coffe in the shade while you watch the sun’s rays light up Thunder Mountain in the morning. We have a circular drive outside the front door that is perfect for unloading and a basement garage for getting your car out of the weather.
The interior living spaces are wide open, with expansive glass walls, yet there is a Great Room and separate Sitting Room to accommodate a variety of ages and activities. The Sitting room is open to the other living spaces and is furnished with a sleeper sofa for larger groups.
The split floor plan is perfect for family vacations. The Master Suite includes a sitting area, en suite bathroom, and sliders that provide great views and easy access to the 7 person Caldera Spa. On the other side of the house, the Queen and Twin bedrooms are stylish and spacious. The pretty Queen bedroom has red rock views. The Twin bedroom is perfect for the kids or grandkids, with room to spread out, but does not have a television.
Our property is backed by 5 acres of undeveloped land. While we’re minutes from all the conveniences of Sedona, being nestled between Coconino National Forrest and undeveloped land gives us a peaceful oasis in which to enjoy the incredible bounty Mother Nature has provided this beautiful area. From humming birds to javelinas, it’s expected you’ll see wildlife here. We have a security camera that only captures the empty area at the end of our driveway that backs up to the open 5 acres. It does not capture any of the fenced-in back yard so guests can expect full privacy when enjoying those amenities.
Please note Sedona is an International Dark Sky community and also has strict light and noise ordinances. The city has made violating them a criminal offense, and you can be charged and evicted. Local law enforcement patrol for violations with noise meters. We ask that you adhere to these rules in consideration of our neighbors. Keep the noise level to 60 db during the day, 50 dBA at night and turn off exterior lights off after 10pm. You’ll thank us the first time you slip into the spa after a long day of hiking and adventures only to marvel at the Milky Way stretching across the tips of Thunder Mountain in the moonlight.
