We had 4 rooms booked. There were maintenance issues with the couple of rooms to begin with (eg, Fridge on room 224 had mould, basin sink had leaks, room 222 had issues with toilet flush etc) .
Anyway, the biggest trauma for us was on the second night (ie, last night of stay there). As we returned after a long day out, we found some other people in our room 224. The overall experience that the staff had checked one of our rooms out (specially when all rooms were booked under 1 name and invoice) and rented to other people when we had our luggage, some clothes, foods in the freeze is hard to believe. Eventually we only were given our luggage back and another room to spend the night (thankful for that). Worst of all was the verbal abuse our family received from the people occupying the room as we had just stepped, only to come out quickly in shock.
Staff, Erin, had advised that she will speak with the manager, Bianca, by noon on Friday and get back with some sort of compensation.
Unfortunately,no call back since.
Please advise how we can raise a formal complaint and find out our consumer rights here (if any). Erin, the staff, didn't even log an internal incident by the 10am next day checkout time period, which was concerning.
