The room has no drawers to place our clothes , five nights in the same room we have to pull out our clean clothes from our luggage , and there is only one luggage stand in the room, we understand hotel rooms can sometimes be small but there is not even room to place a second piece of luggage on the floor but the worst was the smell coming from the bathroom, the smell of sewage is constant, we have to keep the bathroom door close at all time and kept the room key plugged at all time even when we head out to see the city, in order to have the bathroom fan running to reduce the awful smell, I will not stay at this hotel when I visit Seoul again, maybe the other Lotte chain hotels are not like that, I will give Lotte another chance but not the Lotte City Hotel in Myeongdong

The location was great. Right in the center of all the major sites we planned to visit. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were extremely clean and up to date.

Stayed for 4 nights - the hotel is in a fantastic location, with easy access to the subway only a minute's way away, and picturesque views of Namsan visible from around the corner. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast buffet had many tasty options. A well-stocked convenience store on-site allows for purchases 24/7, The only minor complaint I have is that the elevators often require a substantial wait, particularly around breakfast time - but aside from this, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would definitely book again.

This property is excellent. The staff is extremely helpful. They speak English very well. They are also helpful in calling taxi cabs for foreigners and providing directions to services, etc. because this is a business area, Friday nights are off the hook. That is South Korea for you. Lots of office worker parties. Additionally, the bank across the street has a plaza where they host music, DJs and musicians on the weekends. It is quite loud, but the music only goes on until about 10 PM.

This property was walkable to train, bus, myeongdong area, my husband and I walked everywhere, if you don’t feel like walking you can easily catch a taxi or use Uber Taxi and it cost around 6000-8000 kw at most within the vicinity, Property was clean, and safe. Central. Would stay here again.
