Very enjoyable stay in this modern apartment
We had a lovely stay at Les Terrasses Du Grand. The apartment was perfect for our family of 4. Good quality beds (double room and sofa bed in the open plan living room) with air conditioning. Modern wet room style bathroom with good quality shower and the kitchen was very well equipped to be able to cook. The swimming pool was very clean and good temperature with good quality sun loungers around it. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. There is car parking for the hotel at the rear although it could be better signed upon arrival. There is no reception at the apartments which we didn't realise so you need to contact them to arrange check in (our fault for not reading the booking carefully). It is next to a row of nice food shops including butchers and bakers and a bar/cafe. Only a short walk to the beach and a short drive to other beaches nearby. No ATM in the village so come with Euros!

Enjoyed our stay!
A very nice apartment which is modern & scrupulously clean. The bed & bedding was good quality & really comfortable. The swimming pool was excellent,heated & great furniture to sunbathe on! A secure parking area with gate code.The beach is only a few minutes walk, & the Spar supermarket & little port about 3 mins drive. The proprietor was friendly & helpful (the reception desk isn't normally manned but help is to hand via phone if necessary) & we had a super welcome gift. Please note you will need your own pool/beach towels as only 1 bath & 1 hand towel each supplied, these aren't changed during the stay, nor the tea towel. There is an error on the Hotels.Com description saying "daily housekeeping" - this is not the case. The kitchen provides hob, oven, microwave & dishwasher, all clean & modern. A lid for the saucepans would have been useful :-) Although the front of the block looks out to sea, the ground floor apartments don't have so much view due to the hedge, so it would be good to be able to specify an upstairs apartment, to appreciate the fine bay. We enjoyed our stay in Les Terrasses du Grand Large, and Corsica is the MOST stunning island!

Avons été impressionné dès que nous sommes arrivés, construction récente et décoration moderne. Grand balcon ou nous avons pris nos repas, piscine avec luminothérapie! François et sa mère sont très accueillant. Charmant village avec plusieurs restaurant et prêt de belles plages.

Hotel very quiet.
The whole area of Porto Pollo was very quiet. Next to the hotel is a row of several good quality shops selling fresh bread,, meat, veg etc. A very nice bar also serving food, open all day and evening. Very nice readonably priced wine. There is a reception desk at the hotel but only assistance for a couple of hours some days. Owner and son are very helpful. Nice smsll swimming pool. 10 minute walk to porto pollo port. Many nice restsursnts along the way. Good to have a car but we managed without. One minibus a day to Ajeccio and one return. One hour drive bumpy and bendy. All enjiyable.

Excellent Accomodation
Stayed for 1 week. Location was excellent for visiting Corsica. Beaches were brilliant and very close by! Local bakery and shop only 30 seconds down the road and great choice of local restaurants. Staff/owners were very welcoming and took great pride in showing all the facilities available and had many recommendations on places to visit and eat. Would certainly stay again!

We liked the hotel and Porto Pollo, the town. It would be wise for the directions to say the name of the town rather than another town five miles away, especially since the directions do not include a street address. Amiable owner-host, but, more than a third of a roll of toilet paper and an ounce of dish soap and a dirty sponge for dish washing should have been provided. Also, we are English speaking. Most travelers have a reasonable knowledge of English. It doesn't make sense to have only French speaking TV stations especially when a third of the programming is in English originally from english speaking countries.The TV was worthless to us.

Très satisfaits de notre séjour dans cette magnifique résidence face à la plage de Porto-Pollo. L’appartement est top : moderne,déco soignée , équipements,terrasse,piscine parking propreté. Oubliez la tranquillité !!!
Pourquoi une si mauvaise note ? ... parce j'estime avoir été trompé sur les caractéristiques de l'appartement. Certes, il est moderne, le design est beau, l'équipement de qualité, mais il n'est pas "au bord de l'eau", il est au bord de la route !!! en résumé, 3m de terrasse, une haie, un trottoir et LA ROUTE ... ce qui veut dire un bruit quasiment constant la journée et guère plus faible la nuit car un passage piéton surélevé accentue encore le bruit des voitures ... pas très agréable de se réveiller le matin en ayant l'impression d'avoir dormi (essayé de dormir) sur le trottoir !!! Et la "vue mer" ... disons qu'on la devine entre les branches des arbres du verger voisin à une centaine de mètres environ. Et le propriétaire a prétendu ne pas avoir d'autre appartement jusqu'au jour de notre départ prématuré où il nous a gentiment proposé un logement à l'arrière du bâtiment. Bref, à éviter si vous préférez entendre le bruit des vagues à celui de la circulation :-(

Merci aux propriétaires pour leur gentillesse. Fantastique séjour, appart très bien entretenu, très propre et très bien équipé. La superbe piscine était chauffée... nous sommes très satisfaits de cet hébergement. Petit plus à signaler 2 bornes de recharge pour véhicules électriques se trouvent sur le parking sécurisé.

Très bon sejour en famille (2 adultes et 2 enfants 2ans et 9ans) Piscine chauffée a 29° même au mois d'avril Il ne manque que quelques ustensiles de cuisine et un tout petit peu de plan de travail pour cuisiner mais rien de dramatique Climatisation dans toutes les pièces Propriétaire a l'écoute Et aussi, borne de recharge pour véhicule électrique qui n'était pas prévu (type 2, 22kW)

Un sejour magnifique
Tres belle résidence, et surtout un grand merci pour l'accueil chaleureux des propriétaires qui vous mettent instantanément à l'aise et qui sont à votre écoute et merci pour le petit cadeau de bienvenue 😍. Les appartements sont lumineux, modernes et parfaitement équipés (four,micro-ondes,plaques,lave-vaisselle,figo combiné,nespresso... ) Tres bonne literie, une jolie salle de bain avec douche italienne . La terrasse est spacieuse et vous permet de prendre vos repas ou vous detendre simplement. Une belle piscine avec transats au soleil ou sous tonnelle ombragée vous accueille en alternance avec les plages situées a quelques centaines de mètres . Le parking est sécurisé et des commerces sont à proximité à pieds. Porto pollo est un tres joli village avec en son bout un petit port charmant. La region offre de nombreuses possibilités d'activités, mer , montagne, balades, culture locale. La route passe devant la résidence mais on en fait vite abstraction devant la vue sur la mer et le passage quasi nul la nuit. Appartement climatisé et acces machines à laver Je recommande vivement .

Très bel endroit, appartement très propre et très bien équipé, il ne manque rien. Accueil chaleureux et convivial, cherchant toujours à nous satisfaire pour passer le meilleur des séjours. Merci pour vos précieuses adresses, nous avons passé de merveilleuses vacances. Tout ce qu'il faut à proximité (boulangerie, boucherie, primeur, restaurant, supérette et surtout la plage magnifique)
