Cute Cabin in the Woods

The location was the perfect distance between all of the attractions we visited in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We enjoyed having a hot tub in the cold evenings and a place to sit outdoors. The decor was nice and the layout was perfect for our family to spread out. My only complaint is the bed in the master bedroom. It was hard enough that I went to sleep with one of my kids the second night of our stay. Overall, I’d highly recommend this cabin.

Short family vacation

Just spent two nights. Everything about the cabin was great. Compared to some other managed properties, this one seemed less effectively managed but we didn’t have any issues. Some communication came via email, some via text. I called about a checkout procedure (to verify what we needed to do) and was told over the phone to simply lock the door when we left. I received a text message 30 minutes after we were supposed to check out (thus we were already gone) with directions on how to handle trash, dishwasher, etc. Again, not a big deal because we’ve stayed in other properties and knew the basics. Overall stay was good and we’d consider staying here again in the future.

Great house and location!

The house was very clean. The back porch was great with lots of space. The location was perfect for going in between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Quiet area. Kitchen had all the cookware/utensils you would need to cook at the house. We will definitely be back!

Great spot to visit nearby attractions.

We had a great time on a family trip to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge and this cabin served as a nice and convenient home base away from the crowds and the noise. It was easy to drive to and from and it was very nice and clean. The drive along the parkway was actually one of the more pleasant things about the trip, and the access road to the cabin was paved and well maintained so there was no problem getting out and about.

Spacious cabin with great location!

Location was excellent and less than a mile to the Parkway! We were located between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg! The cabin was spacious and perfect for us. I took my teenage grands and they had their own space on one end of the cabin with my space on the other end! The complementary ticket each day helped tremendously on expenses. thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Huge Back Deck & a Gazebo

Had a really great time. The cabin was very very nice. The back porch was lovely. It was very large had a swing. It was very nice. We enjoyed that a lot. I would say the only negative which really isn’t a negative is that I thought there would be a wood burning or gas fireplace. It was just a small electric one, it looked really cute, but didn’t really work. Other than that we had a blast and we will definitely be booking again.

Great Location. Plenty of Space

This property was secluded and quiet, yet conveniently located close to Smokey Mountain National Park, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Nicely nestled in the trees. There was a lot of space! Back porch was huge, nice to hang out and relax in rocking chairs. I liked how the 2 bedrooms were separated. Clean. Kitchen was well stocked. With utensils etc…. If you are planning to cook it Only had salt and pepper. Great rental for s family or 2 couples.

Awesome cabin!

My husband and I stayed here with our two young children. We all loved this cabin so much. The beds were comfortable, and the cabin has a nice layout. We saw a mama bear and her two cubs which was so awesome. The cabin is in the perfect location between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, and we received complementary tickets during our stay which was much appreciated. The communication emails were very detailed, and we had all the info we needed. We’d definitely stay here again!

Nice cabin in a great location but needs some love

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Bear Point but we would chooe another property due to concerns belw. We stayed from Sunday to Saturday. Pros: -We are a family of 5 with 3 kids between 9 and 21 so the room layout with 2 beds in 1 room and a king in the master worked for us. -the location is excellent! Top of hill. 1 mile outside of Pigeon Forge, 4 miles outside of Gatlinburg -bears on the property every morning around 10am. We saw momma and her 2 cubs right off the rear deck (kinda scary also) Cons: -2nd bedroom has a sliding glass door which does not lock, its broke. They tried to "fix" this by cutting a piece of wood and inserting it in the slide of the door, but its about 4 inches to short, so the door can be opened at any time. Not good with kids. - the roof leaks right into the kitchen. We had bad storms 1 night and woke up to a mess in the kitchen. Leaks directly from the vent hood. We reported it immediately but nobody showed up so it continued to leak right into an electric stove - during the storms, we lost power around 7pm. Absolutely no candles or working flashlights on property. 1 flashlight had no batteries. - if you plan on cooking anything, you better bring your pantry, refrigerator, your entire kitchen bc nothing is provided. Salt /pepper, etc. This would include dryer sheets and washer detergent. When you choose a cabin to spend a week in, its the little things that makes a trip a little more enjoyable. The leak and lock are more than concerning

Loved this cabin!

We picked this cabin based on location & it was excellent! I loved that it had a big, flat driveway that didn't drop off to a cliff like every other cabin we've stayed. And mama bear & her 2 cubs walked through the yard every day. The cabin was roomy & decorated classy. The back deck was huge so we spent most of our time sitting on the rocking chairs under the shade of the trees. Would definitely stay there again & recommend to my friends & family. Best cabin we've stayed in & best location!
