"Creek Retreat" is a completely remodeled and gorgeous 3 bedroom, 2 bath, one level, all wood cabin, nestled where 2 creeks meet, in the 24/7 Guard gated community of the Shagbark Resort. It has an extremely large parking area, ideal for trailers and multiple cars! You are literally 2 turns and 6 miles (only 10 minutes) from the Shagbark guard gate to the main parkway in Pigeon Forge and you come out at light #3 which is Wears Valley Rd., right in the middle of everything in Pigeon Forge! There are no steep hills to climb or windy roads, and it has very easy access! Something Great about the Shagbark Resort is all of the cabins are on at least 1/2 acre lots, so they are not stacked on top of each other like some resorts are!

This cabin offers a furnished kitchen (with a lot of extra amenities such as salt & pepper, assorted spices, paper towels, aluminum foil, baggies, etc., a nice dining area, 3 bedrooms, of which 2 of them have very comfy king size log beds, a 3rd bedroom with a queen log bed and queen over queen log bunk beds, all with very comfy mattresses. It also has 2 full baths, one with a tub shower combination and one with a new spacious walk-in shower, with very plush towels. It has a large back deck complete with a glider loveseat, 2 glider chairs, a high end Weber Genesis gas grill, and a 7 person hot tub for you to soak in after a long day of walking and hiking. WiFi internet is free to our guests, and Direct-TV is throughout the cabin with a 50" HD Flat Screen TV in the living room, a DVD library, and Direct-TV in every bedroom, which includes the NFL Sunday Ticket Channel. Lovely cabin getaway!
Our family with young kids had a wonderful stay! Cabin was clean and well stocked. Beds and giant couch were very comfortable. Jacuzzi was spacious and nice. Location was tucked away but only 15 minutes from all the action in Pigeon Forge. I especially appreciate things like hand soap, spices, zip lock baggies, etc. Would stay again!

This was our second stay in this cabin and I can’t tell you how great of a place this is. Super clean, stocked with most everything you need, great area and very close to all attractions. Great getaway in the mountains
We had a great stay at the cabin. The property was perfect for us and had everything we needed. The creek and community amenities were really fun for the little kids and the location was perfect for getting to the national park for hiking and to grocery and other things to do. The beds and couches were very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again next time we're in the area.

Nice Cabin-Location good
Very nice cabin, Convenient location to PG. Plenty of room in the cabin and lots of parking room outside, nice hot tub. For me, the only downside is the sulfur well water. Even tho owner does have filtration and water is safe to drink, it does have a sulfur odor. A previous home of mine had the same issue with the well water, so don't think it can really be helped.

The cabin was everything it said and then some. Very clean and large enough for all 9 of us. Kids had a great time playing in the creek and hot tub. It felt like we were miles away in the mountains yet we were so close to town. Highly recommended this cabin.

Beautiful Cabin.
The cabin was perfect for our family. Amenities were so helpful. The kitchen was set up with every detail (even baby silverware for our littlest grandson). The deck and cookout area was so comfortable for talking while grill. The pictures were spot on regarding all the rooms. We definitely recommend this cabin and we will be back. Our greatest Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg experience ever!
I'd first like to start off by saying.. I don't even want to share this hidden gem.. because it's absolutely perfect and we wish we owned this place all for ourselves! My wife and I over 12 years have been traveling down to the Smoky Mountains on and off several times now. Over the years we've rented various cabins and houses both locally and non-locally. Often finding that what you see and get is what you pay for. The Creek Retreat does not even come close to falling short on the delivery..it knocks it out of the park! Everything stated on Vrbo was exactly how it looked and was described. I couldn't fathom how just a 10 min drive from the strip put you in the most serene and peaceful landscape. Because Vrbo limits reviews, here are some highlights. - Simple and short commute to main strip. - Gated entry for added privacy and security. - Cabin was thoroughly clean and lavish. - Cabin provided all essentials (kitchenware, entertainment, pack-in-play, high-chair, booster seat, roll out bed, etc.) - Huge driveway and yard space outside for outdoor activities. - Prompt and friendly communication with owner. I’d like to conclude our review by stating that my family and I have all agreed that it could be said, that we would most only staying at that exact cabin and or the properties within Shagbark for many vacations to come! Again, I want to sincere thank you for the wonderful time we had at the Creek Retreat. A must stay for any vacationer!

Perfect getaway place…
We recently stayed at Creek Retreat to celebrate our son’s 16th birthday party and the location and cabin couldn’t have been more perfect. The location provided a nice pool and basketball, pickleball and cornhole within the resort. We also utilized the fishing pond and pool about 8 miles away. The cabin was spacious and is a must stay when visiting the area with family and friends.

Awesome Cabin away from Town!
We have stayed at multiple cabins over the years. This is one of our favorites. We had 2 families staying together and there was plenty of room (5 adults, 5 teens, 1 child) for all of us. The owner stayed in close touch with us prior to arrival and we had no issues. The cabin had several amenities provided that we typically do not see at other places, comfortable beds, and a well stocked kitchen. This cabin is set off by itself with ample parking. The older kids enjoyed the pool and pickleball area and our youngest made a homemade trap and caught minnows in the small creek by the cabin. The check out process is so easy with little to no requirements, absolutely lived that! We made lots of memories and would definitely consider staying here again if we are back in the area!

This was a great place. We would definitely stay here again. Location and cabin was great. The host checked in a couple times to make sure everything was going well and that meant a lot Only thing I really thought is the guard on duty when we checked in was not the most friendliest person being he is the first person you see when you arrive. Loved this place
I usually do not leave reviews but this place was just as it appeared in the listing. The cabin was beautiful, very clean, peaceful and the owner called to make sure everything was ok when we checked in. It was the easiest check in I have ever had. I would highly recommend this place. If we ever go to this area again will be staying here. Cannot think of one bad thing with the cabin or the owner.
