Wonderful mountain getaway
We spent a Christmas vacation here and it was great. The location is convenient (about 20 minutes to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge). Its a beautiful cabin with incredible views of the mountains, we even got to enjoy a light snow flurry one morning. We definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a vacation in the mountains.

Great Gatlinburg Getaway
Just far enough out of town but close enough to GSMNP and the strip in Gatlinburg, with closeness to the arts community if that’s your thing. Good wrap around porch and swing with a good view of the mountains, only thing lacking for us was a fire pit which we knew wasn’t there on the front end. Beds were comfortable with everything needed in the kitchen to make any meal. Overall with three kids under 5 it was a perfect stay. Definitely recommended and we saw 4 black bear in the mountains which matched the name of the cabin and our kids loved that. Clean, comfortable, and inviting.

Spring Break Getaway
Everything was good at the cabin. The drive up the mountain was pretty nerve racking we were not expecting it to be so far up the mountain. ( but I didn’t ask next time I will) Teena

We enjoyed our stay very much. Great view!! Wonderful porch. Clean space. It is away from the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg but close enough so it is not a far drive to get around.

Relaxing and isolated retreat
The cabin that we stayed at was extremely well maintained. Modern appliances and amenities, as well as TV in each room if you needed it. The view is fantastic, and even though there are a few cabins in the area, you still feel isolated, and thinks were very quiet.

The four of us had a great time. We did some hiking and relaxing on the deck! Perfect balanced vacation! (I think I sat on the deck and read for 8 hours straight.) Beautiful view and very quiet. The cabin was neat and clean.

We chose the Smokies for our family vacation this year! After looking for hours, days, & even months we decided to book this cabin! We absolutely loved everything about this cabin, from the views even to the bathrooms, lol! It fit all 6 of us comfortable & we had a lot of space! The view is breathtaking! My husband & I do plan to book another family vacation next year & this cabin is definitely saved for it! The drive up is exactly what a mountain drive is! Very beautiful scenery!! The host, by far the nicest host we've had!! Yall won't be disappointed if you book this cabin!❤️

The house was ready for us and was beautiful. The owner was readily available when we needed her. Only 10 miles from downtown Gatlinburg, but far enough away to feel like we were deep in the woods. We will be back for sure!

We chose this cabin because of the Beautiful Mountain Views. It was great staying out in the mountains but also being 30 minutes away from shopping and restaurants as well. There were some nice little restaurants and attractions about 10 minutes away as well.

One of our favorite cabins!
We've stayed at this cabin in the past and loved it which is why we returned! The cabin is beautiful! Everything we needed for cooking was provided. It's a great cabin with a nice scenic route to it through the arts and crafts community. We loved seeing the deer and turkey in the field near the cabin. The only thing my MIL noticed about the cabin is that it wasn't decorated for the holidays but we were there in early November. Not sure if it does get decorated for the holidays but that would be great if so! Hint hint Stacy ;) We will definitely stay here again!

Very clean. Nice wrap around deck. Furniture very comfortable. Loved the porch swing. Good location for exploring most area’s attractions. Met a raccoon on the deck one morning. There was a rabbit in the backyard every evening while we where there. The roads to the cabin was fun. My husband and I enjoy the curvy roads. We enjoyed our stay at the cabin.

Lovely cabin and awesome view!
Quiet, secluded and awesome view. A short mountain road drive to both south end of Pigeon Forge/Dollywood and Gatlinburg. We wanted a quiet getaway before a family destination wedding at the Magnolia and this cabin fit the bill. The owners were very responsive and helpful. We are hoping to remember this property and return again on our next trip to the area!

A piece of heaven on earth.
The cabin is incredibly beautiful; the views are absolutely spectacular. Staci is very personable and was always quick to respond to any questions we had. I've given this a lot of thought and I actually do have one complaint... We had to leave. :( I will always consider the cabin to be my home away from home and I cannot wait to return! I cannot recommend this cabin enough to anyone wanting a refreshing getaway. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Staci!

Beautiful house with beautiful views.
Upon arrival we had the perfect welcome committee. While unloading our vehicle a black bear placed his nose in our open vehicle door trying to decide if we needed help. Once seeing we were doing just fine he waddled away into the woods. Greatful for that experience. The house has a huge covered porch with plenty of rockers, chairs, picnic table and swing which we utilized to enjoy the amazing mountain views rain or shine. It was our morning coffee and end of day place to be. Two clean grills available outside, dont forget to bring charcoal and matches (no lighters or matches in the house. The loft is big and open with a great whirlpool (just dont plan on privacy from other house member 😉 due to the openess) Appliances top end making it easy to prepare meals, do laundry and wash dishes. Refrigerator makes ice nice for a small cooler for day trips. We knew to bring laundry soap but other things I wish we would have brought: pen and paper(none in house) dish soap and dish detergent, garbage bags, syran wrap or containers with lids if you plan to cook and store items. Soap provided did not help to wash the dishes. Upon arrival we pulled the plates out to eat and there was still food stuck to them so we did dishes right away. The kitchen garbage can smelled. The garbage can was wet with something smelly under the garbage bag, so we cleaned that out good. The house has a very handy outdoor water spicket to clean coolers and such which is nice. The downstairs tub drained extremely slow which was gross and took lots of time between people showering. (when showering with the drain open the tub filled 2 inches past ankle). We noticed most houses have staples left behind, this one had none but we assume it's due to Covid. Check in process was great very easy to communicate with owner. Location; This first day was very quiet and it felt like a true getaway. The following 5 nights Sat to Wed it was loud with partying and laughter from the house above and one below the house Not uncomfortable but not the mountain solitude we had hoped for. We are glad we stayed here but wonder for the price if there might be something better.

Awesome cabin!! This was our first time to this area so we found this cabin online and read other great reviews! The cabin was perfect for our our family of 5 (parents and three teens). Very clean. Great views, and loved the king size beds! Great amount of space for our family! The drive is very mountainous! Other reviews had mentioned how stocked the kitchen was, however, when we arrived it was completely empty. Not even salt and pepper shakers. Lol. We were provided with a few starter items like trash bags, laundry packet, etc. we brought our own items like that anyway. We are assuming it’s because of covid and rules vrbo has to follow. It wasn’t a big deal, there are various stores within 20-30 minutes to get plenty of groceries or whatever you need. Check in and check out were very easy. Great communication from the owner and she provided additional numbers we could call if we needed anything! Everything was great!! Did various activities that we highly recommend!! We went zip lining at Climbworks and it was the best experience we could have had zip lining! We went white water rafting through SMO and visited Parrot Mountain in Pigeon Forge. Fun place for all ages!! We got to hold and feed the parrots! The Sunliner Diner was a fun and clean place to eat! And we did a major hike at Ramsey Cascades Trail. An 8 mile round trip with a waterfall at the top! Our youngest is 12 and he did great but be aware that small kids or adults with underlying health concerns may not be able to do this well. You have to cross water by climbing rocks and the climb is very steep at times with very rough terrain. The total climb was 2200 feet. It takes a lot out of you!! I was in pain by the time we were half way back down. Lol. It took us about 5 hours to complete it! Overall, a wonderful experience! Coming back to a great place to stay is super important and really makes the vacation a success and enjoyable! Thanks for sharing your cabin home Staci. We highly recommend it!!

Truly a black bear look out…
We totally enjoyed our week stay in the cabin. It is a well maintained, clean and spacious. Kitchen is equipped for easy meal preparation. Gorgeous views… Since it was July 4th weekend, it was bit noisy but other than that the cabin truly stands for the name that a black bear looked out from the bushes behind. Anyway it passed quickly down the woods. It was quite an experience!
