Nice comfortable and roomy cabin with nice morning Mountain View-
Nice roomy cabin with very pretty morning view of mountains! The separation of all bedrooms and each one having its own bathroom is a very nice plus! Great for couples vacations.

We enjoyed the property and the views were amazing! The wrap around porch was very nice. It was on a pretty steep hill so no flat space to walk the dogs but still a very nice stay!

Great stay
Great place to stay. It was up a steep hill but wasn’t a problem during our early October stay. A few issues came up with the microwave, not enough bath towels and cable in one of the rooms didn’t work but after contacting the host, they resolved all issues quickly. We even got to bring our dogs with which was awesome. The views were incredible, jacuzzi was a nice touch. It was close to everything you could possibly need. Stocking the kitchen a bit more would’ve been great since we ate there alot but would definitely book there again

Wasted Potential
This cabin is not worth the money you will pay to stay there. It’s very worn and outdated. It’s dirty. Dust is piled up on everything. Toilets and bathtub still had grime buildup and the floors hade not been mopped. They say it’s pet friendly but there is zero grass anywhere for your pet to go to the bathroom. We had to drive down the mountain every time to find grass a quarter of the mile down the road for her to go. There were zero blankets only sheets on the bed and they acted like jerks when I requested they bring blankets, said they couldn’t guarantee a time and I said well we spent one night without them so they should be here before bedtime tonight which gave them 8 hours to bring some by. They again replied saying they would get them there when they could but no guarantees. The decor is so outdated and no where near what you’d think a cabin should be decorated like. The whole place needs a deep deep cleaning. All the cookware was garbage so bring your own pans if you’re wanting to cook meals there. Not sure what happened with the hot tub but the first night the chlorine was so strong we were all coughing and choking and had to get out. We added more water to it and left the cover off and it was tolerable to sit in the next night. For the fees you pay for cleaning and the condition of the cabin it’s obvious someone spent like 30 minutes tops cleaning between guest. The dishwasher had food piled up in the bottom. The bed had candy wrappers shoved down in the side boards

Beautiful view
We enjoyed our stay however the reason for only the three stars. There was pet hairs on the floor in the basement in the corners and around the baseboard. It appeared to not be cleaned all that great. I had my young grandchildren with me and they had to stay inside or you had to watch them closely because the spindles are all falling off the porch or loose. The toilet in the master bedroom and the top floor would not hardly flush, after using the plunger I found a bar of soap inside the toilet. The remote controls were scattered all over the house and we had to figure out which one worked which TV. overall the cabin is just outdated. These are all just minor complaints overall we enjoyed our stay. Just an FYI for the next guest.

Quick vacation
The cabin was exactly what we wanted. Cleaned and comfortable. Easy access for my elderly parents to get into the cabin. We enjoyed our stay and even better that we could bring Sadie my parents favorite child the “ Yorkie “. Wonderfully easy to book at last minute would love to stay again. Will recommend to my family.

Disappointing stay...not worth the price!
I should have listened to the guests before us and their disappointments with the property. The “fireplaces” were nothing but a lighted screen (heating element broken upstairs) and frame off the wall not working downstairs. The king upstairs master bedroom had a comforter on it the size of a full or queen. Coffee grounds left in the coffee maker. Condom wrappers and trash tossed down below from the hot tub. To top it off, there was a huge crack down the side of the downstairs bath tub which rendered it completely unusable. Definitely won’t be going back...renter beware!

Probably will not stay here again
Prior to arrival I messaged to inquire about late check out and never got a response. Our first and most important issue was check in. I drove for about 10 hrs just to get to the cabin to find out the cabin was not working. I called the number given to me during booking and it was an hr wait to be able to talk to someone. I could not wait that long because my children were with me so I managed to get into the back door...that was a cause for concern afterward if anyone could just open the door. Thankfully we were only there for one night and didn't have to deal with it longer. The code never worked. An hour later I called the number again and that time it was a 2hr wait. So I left it alone and left early in the morning. Toilet upstairs was not working. Many spider web's in the house.

Awesome view!
The cabin was wonderful. Lots of room and loved the decks! The only issue was they were building or rebuilding a cabin next door, so that was a drawback with a port-a-potty right at the edge of the drive, but overall, it was excellent!

Good location, small kitchen
First, the highlights. The property is located close to many of the attractions in the area. It has a secluded feel, even though there are many close neighbors. The interior of the home is pet friendly. The living room has sufficient seating. There are many TV's available to watch. The high ceilings give the house a spacious feel. The decks on every level allow for relaxing outdoor time. The pool table was fun and functional. Plenty of linen was provided. Parking could fit up to 4 cars. The drawbacks: I was disappointed with the view. Close trees have overgrown the deck, so the mountain view is obscured. The hot tub was not hot and the jets were not very strong. The kitchen is very small. Only one person at a time can work in it. It is adequately stocked with dishes, but bring your own dishwasher detergent because only 2 packs are provided. The "dining" area is tiny and we found ourselves stubbing toes on the 8 chairs that were packed into the small area. The beds could use new mattresses, as they feel well used and beaten down. The outdoor area is NOT pet friendly. There is no green space for dogs. The washing machine temperature controls are switched, so when choosing a cold cycle, clothing will be laundered in hot water. The 3rd level bedroom gets a little stuffy. The bathrooms had an awkward design and very little space to store bathroom items (toothbrush, toothpaste, etc). The swing on the main level deck is too high to use (but the swing on the lower deck is properly adjusted). The dryer was broken upon our arrival and the staff was able to get it repaired the next day.

Location fairly close to everything. But there were some things that were not up to par.
I will keep this simple... It had small toilets Very uncomfortable sofas, not the ones in the pictures. You better bring any and all your condiments. The swing chair is way too high for anyone to sit in. Hot tub had too much chemicals in it to sit and breathe. They are 2 houses under construction next door so it's a little noisy but you cant really do anything about that. The bears have figured out how to open bear proof trash container. I used a strap to secure the lid...I had a surprise to clean up the next morning. Overall, not bad. I will be careful when I rent another cabin. All the things I complained about can be changed. Once again, the location was close to everything.

Nice and cozy cabin, beautiful view!
We greatly enjoyed our stay at Harrison's Hideout. The views were spectacular, the location very convenient, and the rental process easy. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The water pressure in the showers wasn't great, but certainly not a reason to forego staying here. The March weather was perfect, so we spent a great deal of time enjoying the wraparound porch. So much to do in the surrounding area; I highly recommend touring the Tuckaleechee Caverns in nearby Townsend, TN. Horseback riding in the mountains was our families favorite part of the trip. You will not be disappointed with this cabin and location!
