****STAY AWAY****
First off, I would like to say how if anything happens YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR MONEY BACK!!! the host is completely MIA and not even Vrbo can get ahold of him! Second, ROACHES, ROACHES, ROACHES!!!!! We showed up at night and walked into the kitchen area and they were all over the walls, counter, cabinets, and floor. Followed up to more in the downstairs shower! Decided to just lock up and leave and stay in a CLEAN hotel instead!! And shame of Vrbo for still showing this property. I called many times wanting my money back for a PLACE I DIDN'T STAY AT, and even sent picture proof of roaches there and they said there was no roaches due to there investigation… like PICTURE PROOF and NOTHING!!! So finally, best thing to say is STAY AWAYYYY!!!!!!!

Great mountain getaway.
Very nice cabin. Good communication from the owner. It does take a strong vehicle to get up the drive. Two switchbacks and the road is quite narrow. We had no issues just be aware you need confident driving skills. No complaints, well worth the money! Some directions for trash would have been helpful. We took ours since we did not know if it was ok to leave it. Other things to note: Upstairs shower only fits one person. No fans, if you need one bring it. You will get some road noise, not too much. Other reviews said the HVAC did not work well enough. It was 60 degrees lowest and 80 at the highest. we did not have any issues. We will book here again.

Not a pleasant stay
Upon arriving, we had to make several unanswered calls and messages to get the door code and clarification on the property location. The owners responses were all very delayed throughout our stay. We had to kill some live roaches and scrub pans from the cupboards before we could cook on them. The property was difficult to find and get to, accessible by only a VERY treacherous road. After losing power for several hours the first night, our heater wouldn’t work and it was later on the next day before the repair man could get out. The heater never could seem to properly heat the cabin and struggled to get the temp over 62 degrees. The windows and doors were all very drafty and that contributed to the lack of heat. The bathroom door had damage from where a dog had chewed it and the bathtubs had to be washed before we could use them. The mattress upstairs was very uncomfortable and we could feel springs and the bottom bedroom door wouldn’t shut. The only saving graces for the cabin are the views and the hot tub. This could be a very nice place but needs TLC from the owner.

Disappointed, Cabin smells and is on a windy mountain road
We have used several VRBO cabins to stay in Gatlinburg and pigeon Forge and have had good experiences. This was by far the worst experience. The description is not accurate, it is not a steep drive rather a curvy mountain road to get to the cabin that has steep drop offs. Very unsafe at night time. I called the owner in tears to get a refund because I was scared to drive the mountain at night time and he would not refund me. Would not recommend this cabin with anyone for small children either as again it is over a ravine. Check in time was 4 PM, it was 5:30 PM before we got our information to check in and that was after I called VRBO and left several messages with the owner. The cabin smelled horribly of mold and the dog. It also had carpeting that was filthy and stained. Just an overall unpleasant experience and would not recommend.

Great Secluded Cabin
We really enjoyed our stay here. Like others have mentioned, the road is quite steep and dead ends to this cabin with very little room to turn around. There is no yard or any where to walk outside of the porch or road as the cabin is nestled right up to a mountainside with a wall on one side and straight down on the other side. The upstairs is just a loft but is quite spacious for 2. The downstairs bedroom has plenty of room as well. I wish it had some sort of dresser to put clothes in, but the only option was a closet with no hangers. The mattress itself is probably end up life and I ended up buying some cheap pillows to avoid neck pain in the morning. We absolutely loved the location! It's far enough away that you don't get stuck in traffic just trying to run down to the store, but it's close enough that everything is still well within a 20-30 min drive. We passed so many cabins that were stacked right on top of each other and we truly enjoyed how secluded this one was, especially bringing dogs that may bark when we are gone. The owner/property manager was prompt in communication and resolved an issue with the hot tub the same day he was notified. Would definitely do business with them again!

Great stay
I was worried due to some of the reviews prior however all issues had to have been addressed because the cabin was beautiful and none of the issues in the other reviews existed except the steep driveway, it is hard to turn around and it’s a pretty scary drive BUT it’s in the mountains!! I expected nothing less. The privacy was amazing. The cabin was clean and beautiful. The hot tub could have definitely used some steps to enter but other then that it was great. We will definitely be visiting again!

Great cabin.
We stayed for 5 days. The directions provided by the owner were clear, the drive is a little steep. Cabin itself has everything you may need during your stay and more. The towels were a little worn out but clean. Communication with the host was great. To those complaining about bugs, please keep in mind you are in the middle of the forest, so of course there would be bugs that can even get inside the cabin. Cabin is at the very end of the road, away from others and secluded. Would recommend and will book again.

House cleaning should knock down cobwebs more often, it would help if the property manager would respond. I messaged him three times within the first two days about the cleanliness, the hottest and another issue and he did not respond all week.

Disgusting!
It was awful! The first part was waiting outside the for 20 mins with our stuff waiting on the property manager to respond with the check in info. Secondly the place was filthy! Cob webs all over the ceiling, the oven was disgusting, pots and pans in the cabinets with old food on them, old dog toys out in the drive way, and last but not least! The cabin smelt like dog urine! the worst of it all! A ROACH! outside the deck door! Just a heads up not to rent this cabin. The cabin was gorgeous but everything else wasn’t worth it!

After 10 Years of VRBO a poor review
I have been renting from vrbo for about 10 years. This is my very first bad review. The only reason I give 2 stars is because the kitchen is updated with new appliances and was very nice and we saw a bear one morning! The negatives are plenty: Not sure how old the cover picture is of the cabin, but those are not the couch/chair. What is actually there is old and dirty fabric. We put a sheet over the couch. The downstairs bathroom smells of urine and we purchased a shower curtain at the dollar store because the one there had so much mildew and was sticking together. The sheets are worn almost see thru, and the bath towels.....were they blue at one point, or gray and had brown areas on them? We did not use the washer/dryer but the amount of lint on the wall around the dryer has to be a hazard. The location is good, at the end of the road; narrow turn around, but hey... you are in the mountains. I feel terrible leaving such a bad review. I really wanted to like it, but it truly needs lot of TLC and a good cleaning.

Wasn’t was it was all talked about
Little bugs crawling around and where the cabin is the roads are very steap and no stool to get in the hot tub and we are short so was hard for us to get in. Cabin had a smell to it. No batteries in two of the remotes wifi kept going in and out couldn’t really watch tv. Blankets were really thin the code to the cabin didn’t work the lock just keeps turning so whole time there we had to leave the back door unlocked to actually leave when we got there the back door was already unlocked and the front gate stays open.

Cute cabin but road is steep and treacherous
The cabin is precious but we encountered several roaches. That was quite a turn off. When I contacted the owner about it, he never answered. The road leading to cabin is very steep and treacherous. That should be in the description. We almost got stuck going up the road. Overall, we had a great time, but the steepness of the road made it difficult to go anywhere if it was raining.

Romantic Notions Cabin
The cabin itself is very comfortable for it's small size. It was just right for my husband, myself and our adult daughter. The road is VERY steep, and has several tight, sharp turns, which was not an issue for us, but you should be aware and capable of driving it. Everything provided was as described, however, there are no stairs or step stool to enter/exit the hot tub, so if you are not able to climb over the side you will have issues, just a heads up as it is awkward. Overall we enjoyed our stay, and would likely stay again.

Very nice cabin peaceful
Enjoyed our stay at this cabin high on the Ridge Line. Took our dog hiking on the Gatlinburg trail a 20 minute drive away. Absolutely beautiful and one of the few places you can hike with Dogs in the National Forest. The trail goes from downtown Gatlinburg to the sugarlands visitor center approx 2 miles each way, follows the Pigeon River very beautiful and an easy hike. Owner William was quick to communicate with and very responsive. Cabin was clean and comfy. Thanks for a great stay

Beautiful Cabin
My husband and I rented this cabin for a long weekend getaway. It is a beautiful cabin, well stocked with supplies, large hot tub on the deck. The ONLY downside to it was the steep drive. It was great to be only a few miles from downtown but the steep driveway and sharp curves were difficult. We definitely would stay again in the summer/fall but it would be a challenge to get to this cabin if there was snow.

Cozy little cabin
The cabin was a good size for our family of four. It was clean and well kept. Could have used an additional night stand and a dresser in the downstairs bedroom as well as some extra towel bars or hooks in the bathrooms, but we got by without them. The kitchen is very limited and not really set up for cooking family meals. Fortunately someone else has commented on this so we had brought extra cookware. The road was narrow, steep and had a few sharp turns but nothing unexpected for a mountain cabin. Contrary to other reviews, it was not dangerous nor did you need a four wheel drive. Granted there was was no snow or ice but we made it just fine in an older two wheel drive Sienna minivan even when it was raining. We were able to into Pigeon Forge in about 10 minutes and Gatlinburg in about 30.

Smelly in the Smokies
The cabin was great(beautiful) except for a few details. 1.Getting back to the cabin was a real challenge. Narrow, winding, steep, curvy road. 2.There was an awful stench that smelled like a cess pool all around the cabin. 3.It was advertised that the cabin had a pool table but all that was there were the pool balls and the holder where the cues went. 4.Finally, the fireplace was a gas fireplace that had a timer on it and you had to get up and rewind the timer about every 20 minutes to keep the fire going. Seriously? Sorry. but would not pay the amount we paid to stay here again. Not enough bang for your buck :(
