Inside the room, I asked the front desk what they could do. The reply was nothing because they were fully booked. I said “please go and smell
This and see for yourself that I cannot sleep there.” The front desk did not go to check it or have anyone check it. They said they could change my room teg following day. Since it was nighttime and I didn’t have other options, I tried to sleep. Coughing all

Front desk and a clean room. I got the runaround about the first night I stayed saying “we will do something for you, refund you but have to wait for the manager to check the room in a week.” Ok - I’ll
wait for your response. Nothing. So I wrote back and the owner/manger offers a $13 refund on a $119 room. Completely ridiculous. I recommend this hostal only if you don’t stay in
