We were quite disappointed with this house. Although the location was excellent, just a block or two from the main shopping/dining in Seward and Resurrection Bay, the house itself was not in very good condition. The front door really sticks and was very difficult to unlock and lock. The furniture is very old. The twin beds in the 2 smaller rooms are basically just cots - very narrow and thin mattresses. The master bathroom is tiny, with barely room for a toothbrush and toothpaste on the sink - although the shower water pressure was very good. The other bathroom was much bigger. Master bedroom door did not latch closed. The wifi was very unreliable and very slow when it did work - and there was basically no cell service. We also couldn't get the TV to stream anything because the internet signal was so weak. Although it is a small house, the common areas (living room, kitchen, dining room) are quite roomy. There is a large, semi-private yard and a single spot for parking. Reminder that there is no laundry on site. We were there the night that the town was evacuated due to a tsunami warning after the 8.2 earthquake and really did appreciate getting a call from the property manager making sure that we were ok - that was very nice of her! But overall, I can't recommend this property for anything but the most basic of stays.
