Honestly, a really solid hotel. The restaurant was amazing, almost a little too fancy for my tastes. If you are snobby you’ll enjoy this spot. Pool was amazing, service was amazing. lots of nice small details that made it a true 4 star experience

Everything was great, from the bed to giant TV to pool and such. Great restaurant/bar in house. Nice. But I'll mention two minor things that were important to me and I find, in reviews, they give me a sense of the place overall. 1. Coffee. I like in-room coffee, but they have a main Bunn coffee machine for each floor. In theory, great, as it grinds the beans right there! Except our floor's didn't work. I went to another floor and got brown colored water that overflowed my cup. On a third floor I tried it made meh coffee. There is a fridge there but they don't use it, and instead had bht creamers. 2. I appreciate a complimentary breakfast, even if a simple, spare continental and coffee. Typically, I go, drink coffee, and read while my wife sleeps in. This complimentary breakfast was indicated when I looked at the listing ,but the fine print is a voucher for an in-house cafe. Fine. Except the voucher was $10 for two of us, and simple coffee started at $3.00 and most pastries were expensive, not to mention any kind of actual breakfast. We spent $22 over our voucher. Again, minor for a great stay. Five stars. I'll be back. This time I might bring my own coffeemaker, though.

Great Location
The hotel location is fantastic and has great views of the lake, it’s very walkable and close to lots of stuff to see and do around Burlington. Don’t bother opting for the “breakfast included” option as breakfast is not included. They will give you a $10 coupon to use at the on site cafe that will buy you absolutely nothing. Amenities are nice, the $32/day “resort fee” felt a bit steep considering it was not biking season and use of most of the amenities were out of season.

For a one night stay on a business trip, the additional resort fee was not welcome. After a long drive, I was looking forward to a room service dinner mentioned in the welcome email, but that’s not actually an option. No in room coffee, which could be fine if the communal drink stations weren’t broken and/or filthy. Not what we expected overall.
