King One Bedroom, Converted1894 Historic Hotel, Downtown Buffalo Wyoming

We are a seasonal, pet free, vacation rental property, located in the converted Historic Capitol Hotel Building. We have converted the historic hotel rooms into spacious vacation rentals, located on Main Street in the heart of the downtown historic district of Buffalo Wyoming.
We cater to travelers from all over the world from May -October.

*****We change our key codes daily. Your key code will be a personal number provided on your reservation.

The Antelope Suite includes 5 of the original hotel rooms with Main Street views.
When you walk into the Antelope Suite you will find the bedroom to you right with King bed, cable television, ceiling fan, AC, and closet. There is a hallway and kitchen that separates the living area and the bedroom.
In the main living area you will find a second television, dining table, closet, three beautiful floor to ceiling windows overlooking Main Street, two single beds and a double sofa bed. The doorway to the bathroom is also in the main area, bathroom includes walk in shower, toilet, sink with vanity and mirror, towels and toiletries are provided.
The kitchen has a stove, oven, coffee, tea kettle and microwave. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, breakfast bars and homemade baked goods are replenished daily. Around the corner of the living room you will find your own laundry area with washing machine, clothes dryer, iron and ironing board.

Our walls are warped and our floors are slanted. We restored her history and bought in most of todays comforts like running water, electric, heat and air conditioning. Walk the floors the cowboys did over 100 years ago and check out the secret back staircase that allowed the "ladies of the night" access to the second floor brothel.
Our location can't be beat! We are located among the downtown dining and shopping district. Crazy women square for city events is located across the street and George Washington Park is located one block behind us. The George Washington Park is home to Wyoming's largest swimming pool, tennis courts, playground and walking paths.
We are honored to be part of your vacation and are 100% committed and honest to our guest about our properties. What we advertise here is exactly what you will find upon arrival. ..

Get the real old west feel while staying in cowboy country. Check out the back staircase that was built for the “ Ladies of the night” to use over 100 years ago while hiding from the “ decent folk” on Main Street. Walk the same floors many cowboys did, we even renovated around the original 100 year old toilet “ water Closet ” . Even today, it sits at the rear of the hallway!

With our wonderful location you can park the car and walk about our beautiful town to swimming pools, restaurants, pubs and museums.

Take a step back in time in one of Buffalo’s oldest downtown buildings. With a few buildings separating us from restaurants and pubs a quiet evening awaits in The Historic Capitol Hotel building

Hi, We are a fairly, young retired couple living our dream in beautiful Buffalo Wyoming. I started hosted travelers in our renovated Historic Capitol Hotel building in 2010. Now with our newest Creekside property, my husband will be joining me welcoming folks from all over the world. We are a husband and wife team. We cater to you. If you need any assistance, it is my husband and I that will assist you. Our vacation rentals are seasonal, so we travel quite a bit in the off season. We understand what's important to you when you're away from home, clear communication, honesty in our listings, only real past guests reviews, cleanliness and WIFI, we promise to give you all of these. So please don't hesitate to reserve with us, we would be honored to be part of your vacation memories.
Make yourself comfortable in this air-conditioned apartment, featuring a kitchen with a refrigerator and an oven. There's a private patio. A kitchenette is outfitted with a stovetop and a microwave. Noisy Neighbors and Thin Walls
Nice location but the building is very old and the walls are paper thin. We were woken up at 6:30 by screaming kids who live next door. The property manager was responsive but just be aware if you want a good nights sleep.

Charmer
We couldn’t have picked a better place to enjoy our stay in Buffalo, Wy. I loved the apartment over downtown shops environment. The antelope suite was perfect with the 3 massive windows overlooking the Main St. The apartment itself was large and had all the amenities you need for several nights stay to be comfy. Cynthia keeps it very clean and well stocked. We lacked nothing. Her communication was perfect to see if there was anything else we needed. Definitely stay here again in the future

Great location and wonderful space!
We stayed one night in Buffalo before moving on to our next stop and this was the perfect place to land. It has be best location right in the heart of downtown and it truly feels like you are taking a step back in time while still having modern amenities. We stayed here with our two year old and she loved exploring our suite and it had enough room for all of us. Everything was clean and welcoming with everything we needed. Parking was easy both in front and in the alley. We never had trouble finding somewhere to park. The homemade rhubarb bread was also a nice touch and a great start to our morning. Thank you for having us!

Great location in Buffalo
We stayed for a hunting trip, and this was great since it was close to the downtown restaurant/bar we went to. We had a trailer and UTV which we couldn't park right at the apartment, but there was parking very close which was good. Communication with the owners was phenomenal. We'll stay again on our next hunt!

Neat hotel, but not comfortable
Cute what has been done with this old building. Really neat to see the history of it and the town. Unfortunately, the queen bed was very uncomfortable. Neither my husband or I could sleep on it. He ended up on the couch and I ended up on a bunk bed. Not a good nights sleep after a very busy and tiring day.

Great fun
This was a really fun place to stay. It's definitely different than your normal hotel! Our rooms were a great combination of modern amenities (kitchen with all the supplies you need and a modern bathroom), with a very old-west feel (large windows with drapes, wooden floors and staircases....) The owners were friendly, communicative and responsive. I don't travel to Buffalo, WY much, but I would definitely stay here again.

A Beautiful and Historic Setting
Beautiful and very spacious property nestled in the middle of historic Buffalo, WY very close to museums, restaurants and shopping. Cynthia and her husband are both gracious and helpful hosts who went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. I'd go back to Buffalo just to stay at their property again.

Perfect for us, will be back every year
My sons, Grandsons an I have been hunting the Buffalo area for a number of years and have stayed in a variety of places. We finally found our home away from home. Worked out perfect for us and the accommodations were outstanding. Cindy was great, we will be back for every WY hunt we do.

Very spacious suite and really neat building if you are a history buff and nice to be able to do laundry. Largest pool in Wyoming was impressive - too cold to go in when we were there. Music in the park across street when we arrived and the Historic Main Street had a lot of neat shops. Sunday most shops not open so plan accordingly.
