Great hotel with very amply fitted rooms. Everything was maintained to a high standard and very clean. Staff were always welcoming, especially the pool side staff who introduced themselves by name and were very attentive. Local friends were able to use the valet parking free of charge and there was never a long wait to get their cars back. The property isn’t actually beachfront as the photoshopped image suggests but I wouldn’t recommend going to the local beach anyway. The gym was one of the best I have seen in any hotel in more than 30 countries. Breakfast buffet which I thankfully paid for in advance so it was half the price was good. Not spectacular but being able to trust the food hygiene at breakfast was very reassuring. I had a great stay and would happily go back. Definitely where you should be staying while in Chennai.

The property is a bit dated, however, the staff is amazing. It started with the driver meeting me at the airport and ended with the driver dropping me at my destination in Pondicherry. Ajit Anurag, the Concierge made the experience worthwhile. Everyone I interacted with was extremely polite and courteous. The personalized attention extended into the restaurant, where they accommodated my every request. Even though it wasn't on the buffet. I could have stayed there longer, unfortunately I had planned an overnight, on my way to my final destination .
