Lovely grounds. Tucked away and quiet. Superior staff - friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. Room amenities like microwave, coffee maker and fridge could use an upgrade, however the room was clean and comfortable. Outdoor whirlpool clean but felt water was not hot enough. Big fire pit had plenty of brush, kindling and firewood however we unfortunately didn’t get a chance to use, but definitely would’ve wanted to.

Bad shower curtain.
The shower curtain was designed to hold water in since it had no liner but it didn't not. There was water on the floor street the showers that were taken. The owners were great, I would stay again. There was a shuttle that picks up on weekends, maybe weekdays too until end of Oct and goes downtown Sister Bay and will pick up where they dropped you off at every half hr until 2am, it was nice not having to drive.

Room clean, room dated but clean, carpet old. They do need new pillows, bring your own. Gardens pretty, nice big campfire area. Entrance sign attractive and easy to spot.

We did not like that there was a 'smoking area' (cigarette pit and chair) on the stairwell. We did not feel safe if there had been a fire we would have had no way to escape our room. Also, that smoking was apparently allowed right outside the rooms--the smoke carried up to the second-floor rooms through open windows/doors.

there were a few fire pits and bbq grills, that was nice! Although the garden was a beautiful setting, it was weedy and overgrown! The jacuzzi in the room needs to be scrubbed better and there was mold on the baseboards and around the shower door! the Airconditioner from the second floor unit was dripping right on our front step, we had to put a bucket.

The property is well taken care of, and the grounds are very pretty. We loved the outdoor hot tub. We had 4 ladies in 1 room with 2 beds, so it was a little tight, but the room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Would certainly stay here again.
