Beautiful view of the lake, very relaxing Thanksgiving with hubby. The cold is given but the serenity, pristine and magnificent nature made our stay a very lovely one.

As someone who visits Door County regularly, this was my first stay at this resort. It will certainly not be my last! We are already planning our next stay here. The room was beautiful and relaxing, and we had a great water view. The bed was so comfortable and breakfast was a nice treat. The only negative was the coffee served at breakfast was terrible. Serving regular drip coffee at breakfast would have made the stay perfect.

They have a nice walking trail that takes you down to the Sister Bay area. They have a lot of things to keep you occupies, pickle ball court, volley ball, shuffle ball court etc. Hot tub is nice, pool was closed for the season.

Sister’s getaway
Very welcoming stay at this quiet tucked away hotel. The grounds were immaculate and the pool area was kept clean with towels and water close by. The room was updated nicely decorated and very clean. Nice variety of breakfast food. Definitely will stay here again.

Pet Friendly
We are very happy with our stay at the Country House Resort. We stayed at one of their suites which is pet friendly. The suite was very spacious and clean. The check-in process went smoothly as did the check-out. The view out to the lake was very nice. The only two downsides were that it was on the 2nd floor and the stairs inside the suite were a little daunting. However, the best thing I did love was the shower. I would recommend this hotel especially for people with pets. The Sister Bay area was very dog friendly.
