Quaint cabin
The cabin is in a neat location, close to town, but not near neighbors. We enjoyed the private area. The furnishings are dated, but we expected that from the pictures in the listing. The basement was nice for leaving ski gear, and the kitchen was well-stocked with pans and utensils(although some teflon needs replaced). The cabin has excellent space for everyone and the sauna is a big bonus! The wood stove was nice on cold evenings and there was a steady supply of firewood!

Nice place
Nice place but needs some TLC. A deep cleaning would be for starters. The parking with a trailer took some careful backing as the long narrow road to the cabin didn’t allow for turning around. It being the hottest summer in the area, it got rather warm in the late afternoon but that was of no fault of the owners .

The location is great! Close enough to get to anywhere conveniently, but felt far enough away from everything while cooking out on the back porch. The mountain in the backyard is so neat! The kids loved having the whole upstairs to themselves!! (Grown ups loved it too lol) Very great experience, we will definitely be back.

Great stay.
Did not receive final check in instructions until 15 min before check in time(3:45pm). Tried contacting host and Virbo by phone, email and chat all day on day of check in. Finally got a call back at 3:45pm and she texted me final check in insructions.

Hidden Fun Cabin
We enjoyed our stay. The wildlife was amazing! Deer and even a bear! The cabin was full of everything we needed and more. The only negative feature for us was no ground level access to the main floor. You have to take stairs to get to the main level. A member of our group has trouble with stairs. Otherwise, the stay was absolutely wonderful!

Close to Fun Valley
We had family staying at Fun Valley so were looking for something convenient to that. This was ideal. The house was very comfortable and felt homey. The only problem we had was the oven did not cook evenly. After learning how to adjust what we were cooking we were fine. Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay.

Musty house
It served our needs well. It felt as if house had been closed up for some time and smelled musty as did bedding outer covers. Once opened up an aired out it was fine. We did get some freebreeze fabric spray for the covers. We did enjoy our stay

Cute cabin just right for our family spring break
The cabin had the right amenities for all of our family's needs on our spring break. We needed 4 rooms and with the 3 bedrooms and pull out couch in the living room it was perfect. We went skiing at Wolf Creek Ski Resort. It was a 23 minute drive, which is closer than Pagosa Springs. Not many restaurants in South Fork, but we stopped at a grocery store and planned meals for the week. This worked for our family, because we were all exhausted after a full day of skiing. We saw wild turkeys, and mule deer that came right to the porch of the cabin. Very cool! We look forward to staying again. The owner of the cabin was very nice and accommodating in answering our questions, since this was the first time we have used this type of service. Thank you for a great first experience!
