Upgrade door lock and shower heads
Excellent property, front door lock digital system was very unreliable, we left the door unlocked each day as we could not know if the lock would let us back in. Both bathroom shower heads are broken and gave a pitiful shower. Fix these issues before renting again.

Mountain getaway
We were conveniently located near many mountain attractions. Creede and Pagosa Springs were close. Not many restaurant options in South Fork.

Lonesome Dove in South Fork
Loved the cabin and decor. The cabin sleeps 4 but the coffee machine brews 1 cup at a time. The bathroom sink looks cool and in style, but impractical once you brush your teeth since it does not drain properly.

Good location and accommodations for a small group (3)/family (4) fishing trip on the Rio Grande…as long as the Hwy 160 traffic noise doesn’t bother you.

Previous guest may have been a Bigfoot
Discovered a lot of human hair, on everything. We had to wash the sheets and pillowcases on arrival. Pretty disappointed that we were expected to drive our own trash into town after our stay. We saw the cleaning crew arrive after our check out and they spent no more than 45 minutes at the place. The property management company texted us about 10 separate time before, during, and after our stay. Pretty excessive. Good location & and the place is cute. But would have been much cheaper and probably a better experience to stay at a hotel.

It was a perfect place eventhough our trip was effected by a monumental winter storm. I cannot imagine being forced to stay inside on vacation pleasant place.

2nd Time we used this location
This place is perfect for my boys and me to go have a fun weekend getaway. We love the house as it's plenty of room for us and has everything we need. The one item you need to think about it that the driveway is not very accommodating if you have snow. We had a 4 wheel drive vehicle but we had issues getting in and out due to the snow drifts. We had to spend time shoveling in the am and then when we returned do it again. It's not due to new snow, it's due to wind and drifts. Hopefully they can come up with a solution to this.

Cute little cabin
I was so afraid that the cabin would not be as cute as the pictures, but it looked just like the pictures. The kids loves the loft and we loved the separate downstairs bedroom. My kids had a blast playing checkers all weekend! The people of South Fork are so friendly and we will definitely be back! Thank you for helping to make our vacation a memorable one!!

We loved the cabin especially being a fan of Lonesome Dove. It was nice and cozy, clean,& well stocked. The only thing that was a bit bothersome/worrisome was the foot traffic through the yard crossing through by strangers. Other than that, I would highly recommend Return To Lonesome Dove cabin. We will be back. The staff was very helpful and prompt with response to questions. Great place.❤️🏔

A great little cabin
The cabin was great. Very warm and cozy. Awesomely stocked kitchen and super location for getting to Wolf Creek in about 20 minutes.

All positive! Lovely rustic cabin in a great town and location. Only note to potential renters: this is on a major highway, and its “curb appeal” is low — until you get into the cabin which is cute, comfortable and very livable. Special compliments to the wonderful and helpful property manager—and her husband who was great helping us!

This cabin is absolutely perfect! Just beautiful. The inside is very cozy and welcoming. We could not believe how charming it is decorated. The owners have thought of everything you will need to make your stay comfortable. The location is perfect. We really enjoyed the firepit as well. We will definitely stay again! This place is AWESOME!
