This hotel functioned like a small resort, with a nice breakfast place, quality restaurant and bar, pool, hot tub. The decor was nice and new, rooms and areas were clean, the staff was wonderful. My only complaint is that the breakfast place was overpriced, although delicious, and there were no snack machines on the floors. Each floor did have a coffee machine with unlimited excellent coffee and unlimited flat and sparkling water.

Nice amenities, including the fitness center, bikes/snowshoes to borrow, cafe with lovely seating area, and a beverage pantry on each floor. We ended up in a room right next to the janitor closet, which was very noisy in the morning as the door kept slamming, but this did get better after I commented on it to the staff. Short walk to the waterfront and Church St. marketplace, which has lots of cafes and cool shops. Would definitely stay at this hotel next time I'm in Burlington.

The location was great, and self parking was affordable. The room was clean and modern, but we found that our bag towels didn't want to stay on the towel hooks in the bathroom. Staff was polite and courteous.

Heat broken
We stayed in room 200 from 12/20-12/23. On night one our heat stopped working. An engineer came and fixed it, however it stopped working over night. The next day we were told it was a boiler issue and would be fixed. That night they brought us a portable heater which kept the bed area warm but the bathroom and water etc was freezing as it was2 to degrees outside. The next day they said Alliance was on property and it'd be fixed. When we returned in the evening it did work, however by midnight it was out again. We were offered to move rooms but was told it'd prob have the same issue. Upon check out we asked for compensation and were offered the resort fee. This does not feel adequate as it was a winter weather warning outside and your property did not provide the heat needed. I have tried to email and gotten no response..

Terrible stay, surprised this is a curio collection by Hilton, quality of a motel. We stayed Christmas Eve so we could get some sleep and not have a long drive Christmas Day. Unfortunately we weren’t able to sleep well. Our room was freezing, 58 degrees. We complained about the heat and they sent an engineer to try and “fix” it. The engineer was in our room at 10:30 pm opened a panel flipped a switch and then told us that there was a problem with the boiler in the building and then left a construction grade space heater in our room. Front desk offered to move us to a different room at 11 pm but confirmed that issue with boiler in the building, so I said we didn’t want to move to another cold room. We were tired and wanted to rest. Bedding in room was paper thin, didn’t help with keeping us warm. Also room was filthy, nasty stains all over walls and carpet - even though we had one of their “nicer” lake view rooms. Won’t stay here again, shocked that ppl pay to stay here on holiday. Staff did their best considering state of the facilities/building.

We booked a king junior suite. When we got the “suite” was old and out dated, and the room was very dark and musty. The couch had rips and looked like someone lived on it. There was nothing sweet about this suite! We had arrived early, I checked to see if an early checkin was possible, they offered me a premium two queen lake view room at no extra charge. We weren’t in a rush, and wanted more space, so we waited. Once we saw the “suite”, we asked for the other room, then they charge me for the change. The hot tub was also out of service. The only positive is the location, and view if you get the lake view. Over all experience was underwhelming.

The place was nice but we were unlucky and for some reason the heating kept resetting after a few mins so our only night there, we were freezing. I brought this to staff attention and they were nice about getting it fixed for next guests. Besides that the place is nice, nice amenaties, nice location and beautiful view on the water. **look closely to hidden fees. Even though all the fees were on our booking, it was unclear at check-in if they were charging additional fees on top of those we knew. They weren't but be aware and look closely to avoid confusion.
