I liked this property. It was clean and very comfortable.
As described, the swimming pool is right off the back porch. However, because of it's ground-floor location, many people walk back and forth and can easily see inside the living area and master bedroom. As a result, the blinds had to be closed to ensure privacy, which kind of ruined the idea of being able to see ocean.
The master bed is super soft and tempted us to sleep in every day. There's plenty of room for 6 people as described. For just us 2, it was a little too much, though. We had invited my parents but they couldn't make it.
I loved that they had a full washer and dryer as well as dish washer. Parking was controlled and secure. A security guard made his rounds every night so we were assured that our car and condo would be safe.
There were a couple of hiccups at the beginning. The wifi name was erroneously listed in the realtor package. However, we later learned, after a quick call to the quick-responding realtor, that the wifi was actually something totally different. We had to look at the router to get the info we needed. Also, I have an iPhone and my husband has a Android phone, and we both had trouble making and receiving calls inside the condo. We had to switch our phones to "wifi calling" in settings under "cellular" to get at least a few calls.
The beach is about 200 yards away but there are mats placed along the path to make it easier to walk on. The Edgewater has some stairs going down to its path to the beach, but they're pretty steep to get a beach wagon down there. I thought maybe a ramp option would be a good idea. We opted to use the public access entry to the left (if you're facing the building) for an easier walk.
Also, once on the beach, the condos did not have their own umbrellas and you had to call a local beach umbrella company to come and place one for you. We opted to walk down another 100 yards down the beach and paid $30 for a day to a company already set up.
Also, we found a worm of some sort in the kitchen and huge moths around the doors. We gently let the worm outside and did our best to dodge the small bat-size moths.
Over all, I don't think we would rent this space again mostly because of the privacy issues and distance to the water. But I would recommend it to younger families who want to sit and watch their kiddos in the pool from their own porch. There is a fence but the opening is very close and it seems very convenient.
