Motel not condo
When I booked through vrbo, it showed Condo with the kitchen. When I got there, it was a motel room and I called to see if I could check out the following day and get a refund and someone went and updated vrbo to show motel style room. This was false advertisement. I did not have funds to eat out, so I was expecting for a condo with kitchen.

Wonderful place
Locale you just can't beat. The resort is a wonderful place to stay. That being said it is very much outdated and needs massive upgrades and fresh paint. Also the unit I stayed in is listed as a 2 bedroom and pics are of a 2 bedroom, but it is not a 2 bedroom. In any other circumstance this could have been an inconvenience, but we made it work since it was just family. So the listing should be updated so renters aren't confused about the unit.

More guest bedroom/hotel than condo. Mini fridge was perfect to keep cool out beverages. New linens. Nice resort. We enjoyed our stay. The unit itself was fine, could use a fresh coat of paint.

Upon arrival the curtains were broken , dresser was broken, and the first time I attempted to shower, the shower handle broke off. So we were unable to shower for over 24 hours until a plumber came in to repair the handle. The pools were fabulous and the location was phenomenal. I was promised that the curtain would be fixed within the first 24 hours of my arrival but after my 7 day stay, it remained unrepaired.

Property needs maintenance and cleaning
Pool is ok and beach is very close. Building needs maintenance and is dirty. Trash bags left in the elevator area and throughout the property. Housekeeping started cleaning (Hoover, dishwashing, etc) the room next door at 7am, woke all of us up. Not fun. Poor value for the money

Great Location but came with an issue...
The location is fantastic! The check-in was quick but we had an issue with the card reader on the condo door and it took about 30-45 minutes to finally get in our room. The room is a motel room setup (2 beds & bathroom) and it does not directly face the Ocean however you do have a partial ocean view. It does not have a balcony but does have a small area outside of the slider. The issue we had was the large amount of water on the floor. We literally had puddles of water in the entire room as well as the bathroom. It was a huge slip hazard on the tile floor. It took 3 days to completely get the floor dry and all that Mgmt would do was provide a fan and extra towels. That situation did not please us and did effect the mood of our vacation. We kept being told that it was "just condensation" but something else was at play. Plus we noticed some black residue on the wall between the beds that I hope isn't mold. Mgmt was also informed of this. Question #1 Would we go back to SPI? Yes. there was so much more to see & do plus the beach & ocean are fantastic. Question #2 Would we rent at Saida? No. I wish I could add photos to this review but I will try on VRBO site.

This was a nice place to stay…it was more like a hotel room than a condo. It wasn’t what I expected but it was nice. We were fortunate that our kids were staying a floor below us and they had a kitchen and living room so we spent a lot of our time there.

Rooms were not what we expected. Customer service was the pits. Manager Matthew was no help st all.
THIS WAS A TRIP FROM HELL CHECKED IN 6/29/21/( CHECKED OUT 6/30/21. MY ORIGINAL RESV WAS FOR 3 DAYS BUT NOT THERE THIS WAS VERY DISAPPOINTING< NOT TO MENTION MY THROWING 748.00 IN YOUR POCKETS!

South padre island stay
The pools and beach were nice. The resort was having issues with there sewage. The lobby smelted horrible the smell came through to the bathroom also. The property needs renovation to rate it any better. The sewage problem was not taken care of in a professional manner. One guy was shoveling the whole week. They need to look at their management

Great price for location
We really enjoyed our stay and loved the location, amenities, and easy check in/check out process! However.... my only complaint is that there was remodeling and construction that was going on for the first 3 days of our 4 day stay! I wish this was communicated to us beforehand considering that it was the ATTACHED condo to the room we were renting out. It was awfully LOUD. And it was happening on the other side of the wall which made made our stay just a little bit less enjoyable. Other than that, the place is a great room to rent out; just make sure there is no construction going on!
