The room was spacious beds were comfortable they had extra pillows and blanket. Bathroom was nice liked the soap and shower dispensers. Breakfast was good with choices. The only negative was the hot water in the shower didn’t last

I was very happy with our room. It was attractive, up to date, and comfortable. The breakfast was also good. When I first went to get coffee, it was empty...which is no big deal...I let the staff member know, she told me 2 minutes, and then actually brought a full cup to me vs just letting me know it was refilled... outstanding! 😊 On the other side, somehow the fact that we had checked into the room was not noted at the front desk, leading to a call around 10:45, that woke my son & I up, to see if we were in the room and asking me to come to the front desk in the morning, and then another call ~5 minutes later telling me that they figured it out. I'm sure that doesn't happen regularly, but also feel that it wasn't urgent enough to call that late. Overall, I'd definitely stay again.

Must know before you go: hotel rooms are updated and really nice. Very close to MGM you can actually see the hotel as it is only 0.2 miles away. The big down side is really an area issue. Walked out of MGM to gang members and homeless individuals right on the property. People fighting and gangs yelling out car windows. No police or security the second you step outside. My wife and I considered having to call an uber for the 0.2mile walk which is absolutely insane. But when theres overt gang paraphernalia on multiple individuals impeading your walk down the side walk it makes you think twice. Ultimately had to walk around the building to a lite alley and go through the back to avoid the crowd. Springfield and MGM really dropped the ball on safety the second you go outside the casino. When we finally made it to the hotel the hotel doors were locked for safety. However, the hotel card key didnt open the door and we had to use the speaker phone to get someones attention which leaves people extremely voulnerable to the individuals behind you on the street. If you go with a big group i dont think this would be an issue but my wife and I are in our early thirties and left for an uncomfortable nightcap

The room at Econolodge was horrible. The room wreaked of cigarettes and sex! The shower was dirty. My husband and I didn’t feel comfortable enough to take our clothes off; opting instead to sleep with our clothes on and a towel over the pillows. They charged me for early check out which I gladly paid.
