The Gem of Jacksonville
Staff friendly and knowledgeable . Property in excellent condition inside and out. Rooms were spacious. The bed wasn't as cloudlike as I'd hoped but that's nothing major. The hotel is on the outskirts of Jacksonville by a couple of trucks stops and other lodging. Town and all of its offerings are a mere 3 miles away. Every store and restaurant one could need right there.

The cleanliness of the room was top notch. The bed was comfortable. The mattress seemed to be a firm mattress with a reasonable pillow top. Basically, just right. The staff was very friendly and the place is an excellent value for the money.
