An Excellent No-Name Experience
The best value experience on our trip, including the breakfast with the best quality ingredients. Furnishings are somewhat dated, but in very good condition. Since the property abuts busy I-95, choose a room on the side of the pool.

It is an older hotel which has been kept up nicely. It was very clean. I was pleasantly surprised. The pool area looked nice and it had a grill. Didn't use either because I was just passing thru.

Unfortunately, as soon as we arrived in the room, it smelled of dust. The shower was good. The Wi-Fi is open and without a password. They didn't tell us that breakfast time on Mondays was until 9 am and on weekends it was until 10. We informed reception that mold was starting to form near the toilet.

This was a lovely motel with pool & jacuzzi ( which we didn't try) The laundry facilities were available to use ( which we did) The room was smart,clean & comfortable and breakfast was good.

My refuge hotel near St. Augustine when hurricane Milton hit Central Florida. A side from some local flooding and power outages, the staff performed like pros with their hotel at max capacity. Nice job from a hard working staff!

The stay was fine. Definitely older hotel that had several things in the room that felt dirty (the rug, chair, drapes, comforter). Also felt like several of the people staying there were living here. If you need a cheap spot, this will do, but it’s not a diamond in the rough.

Hurricane MILTON!
When we were evacuated from the Tampa Bay area and we needed a place to stay for a few days that was pet friendly, the Smart Stay Inn was available. The Motel was completely full because of the storm. I wasn't expecting the Waldorf. The rooms (2) were clean, and the bed was comfortable. The motel was an older style, probably a Holliday Inn at one time. At night there was noise from the pets, people talking as they walked down the halls, and doors slamming. I think you could attribute this to the full house situation and the storm. We had electric all night through the storm and felt safe. About noon time the next day the electric went out and it wasn't known when it would come back on, so we decided to leave for another area because of the lack of air conditioning and lighting. Of course, this wasn't the hotel's fault, but we felt it was better if we didn't have to suffer all night. I think if we ever need an overnight heading north again, we will probably stay there again. The price was right, and the breakfast was pretty good.
