Love the area! Had a great time at the pool! Hiking on the bearskin trail was beautiful! Breakfast was nice, too! Loved having a balcony this time looking over the woods!

When we checked in we could not find anyone at the front desk for at least 15 minutes. Went to the room and both beds and bathroom were covered with pet hair.

Nice quiet place to stay. Nice patio outside the door to sit and enjoy the outside. Great breakfast and atmosphere. Dining had good pizza and awesome bartender. Rooms were a bit outdated but very clean and comfy.

We arrived 45 mins early for check in. Asked if we could check. Its was a no. Asked if we could use the pool till our room was ready nope. During our stay all night long people screaming at their kids doors slamming. Couldn’t get a good nights rest. On top of it our old ac unit in the room worked half of the time. We couldn’t get the room under 76 degrees. Wouldn’t recommend staying over night but would recommend just using the pool.

Very nice beautiful facility. Really gives you the "up-north", lodge feeling. We stayed only one night and it being towards the end of the summer and a Sunday night, the "Pub" wasn't opened. We were there to watch our Granddaughter and Grandson water ski in the Min-Aqua Bats ski show. After the show was over we had to find someplace to eat and everything this time of year closes at 10:00pm or isn't opened Sunday. So fast food it is. We get back to the hotel and thought we'd go lay around in the hot tub, but the pool area closes at 9:00pm this time of year. We need to go earlier next year ... and stay longer!

Dirty room, unfriendly staff.
The registration staff was not friendly. Room was dirty with many stains on the carpet. Old dirty couch in the room. Sliding glass door looked like it had not been washed in a long time. Screen door was dirty and had clumps of grass clogging the track. Considering the cost I was quite disappointed.

Starting at check in the front desk lady wasnt very friendly. Moving on to our room which was on the 1st floor which was basically in the basement. The room had a walkout patio area with 2 chairs and cigarette butts littering the area. Walking in the bathroom there was a tag from someones clothing laying on the floor along with dirt and hair o so it must not have been swept. When getting into bed the sheets felt damp which really was a gross feeling. On a positive note they do have a nice little pool area I think they advertise it as a water park. It is NOT a waterpark. Its a pool with a couple of slides. There was a nice game room for the kids. Overall, I wouldnt waste my money staying here again.

I have stayed here a few times and I hate to give it a bad review but not sure I would go back. First my reservation was lost. And they said I didn't have one. I was able to make a new reservation on Expedia which they honored. Then when I got to my room we did not have a coffee pot nor did we have a nice bucket. So that was a little bit disappointing. I went down and she gave me an ice bucket and said she would send up a coffee pot but I had to ask again the next day for a coffee pot. Then the pub was closed which they had a sign saying it was closed on Sunday but it was also closed on Monday so there was nowhere to eat. I asked the girl where she would recommend to eat just trying to look for some pizza She said dominoes. I asked if any other place delivered She said I don't know I'm not from around here. So that was disappointing too. Then we ate pizza downstairs at the snack shack. That was not good. All in all the pool was good The people were mostly friendly and maybe they were just having an off day. Cuz every other time I stayed there it was a good place to stay.
