Loved my stay here. Comfortable, quiet room with a balcony view. Hot tub was just what I needed after a long day of driving up from Interlochen. Staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was great and loved how rustic yet comfortable the lodge was.

This hotel was picked because it was pet friendly. When we got there, the young lady at check in was so nice, knowledgeable, and helpful. It was a great introduction! Then our room was in a great location and there was a very convenient green space for dog walking. My sister and I enjoyed our coffee and bagel for breakfast. Wonderful start to our day.

The beds need to be replaced, they weren’t very comfortable. But the view of the lake made up for it. the hotel provided chairs on the balcony, but the balcony was not private, it was shared with 2 other rooms, which were occupied. The walls are thin and we could here the neighbors below us talking.

The room smelt like an old wet basement sprayed with air freshener. The hot tub had 'non-slip' strios in it that had seen way better days, I had to sit on a towel in the water. The room was warm so we used the air conditioner, that was right by the head of the bed, that was loud and it would go on and off all night. Slept bad. Would not stay here again.

Hotel was pretty good. Very decently priced. The beds were fine, not the best if the best but fine for the short trip. Really the only complaint was the AC was a little loud. But if that’s my only complaint then I would say that’s a win.
