This hotel is old. The elevator was broken. The ice machine was broken. In our room the bathroom fan did not work, the bathroom sink drain did not work properly, and the wheels on the chair at the desk did not work properly. The entire hotel looks old and outdated.

The balcony view and vibes were spot on. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I didn't eat breakfast but it looked like a lovely breakfast area. I would suggest some softer lighting options in the rooms but that didn't impact my lovely stay. The sound of the waves more than made up for it!

I have nothing bad to say about this place. I wished we could have stayed here our entire trip. Staff was amazing, rooms were updated and we stayed in one with a deck looking out onto Lake Huron. It was picture perfect. Wide variety for continental breakfast, too.

We loved the lockable screen door on the balcony unfortunately the glass door didnt stay locked. I loved the roominess of the room and the sunrise on the lake was fabulous..the area for breakfast is just too small however we would stay again.
