We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. An old motel that has been completely updated. So comfortable. So homey. The gardens around the property were absolutely lovely. Multiple plugs on both sides of a king bed to accommodate multiple devices. And, very, very clean. Such care is taken to make this a comfortable stay. My one suggestion would be to put a tabletop ironing board and iron in the room.

I was a little hesitant with a "motel". But it exceeded our expectations (3 60 yo female Grosse Pointers). Cleanest place I've ever stayed, beds were comfortable, staff was all super friendly. It was a quick stop in St. Ignace for us on our way home from the UP. Busy street right in front, but didnt bother us. And oh the flowers, they were plentiful and beautiful!

Just a great stay.Room was very clean, big sink to share , great lighting and even tray tables to use while sitting on the coach instead of the bed. They thought of everything you would need in your room especially if you were bringing in food.

Gem in the North
I don’t normally pick a roadside motel for any stay, but after reading the reviews I gave it a try. This is probably the cleanest room I have ever stayed in anywhere. Yes, it’s a little cramped inside and the ceilings are a little low, but I was happy to trade that for clean and comfortable. It has what you need and is so well maintained. Restaurant next door makes it a perfect spot to stop.

This is an older motel that has been kept up beautifully. Grounds are beautiful and owners were very kind and responsive. Great location for Lake Michigan beach!

CLEAN property and a quick 3 min. drive into St. Ignace and the ferry boats to Mackinac Island. Staff is very FRIENDLY and attentive. Highly recommend.

Pretty but pricey.
It was a little pricey-160.00 for one night. Bathroom is tiny but shower was hot. Landscaping is beautiful. Asked for a toom with a King bed and was "upgraded" to a room with two queen beds. Would have preferred the room with King bed. Short drive to downtown.
