Place really surprised me how good it was. Coffee shop and staff was amazing and super friendly. Food at restaurant root 42 was really good. Staff was somewhat friendly. Room was nice. Loved the ac unit above the bed. I just wish they had staff on hand later at night. Locked my key card in room and had to climb on roof and jump on my balcony to get in.

Comfortable, spacious room with a generous balcony (seats four for a meal or cocktails). Friendly restaurant-bar and coffee bar with a solid menus onsite. Helpful staff. Flamboyan feels like a hideaway yet access to a world-class beach and shopping is very easy.

A Wonderful Stay!
Staying at the Flamboyan was honestly one of the highlights of our trip to St. John/St. Thomas. The property is very nicely set up with amazing rooms, clean pools, a nice restaurant/bar, and stellar views of Magens Bay. Both pools are very clean with the top pool being well located near the rooms and bar/restaurant area. We did notice the hot tub near the lower pool was not working and was only about 85 degrees. Not a major issue at all but would be an incredible feature if working properly. Second, the rooms are incredible. Our room was perfect for our family of 4. The vaulted ceilings on the 300 units make the rooms so big and there's even a spiral staircase that brings you to an extra bedroom. Units are basically a 2 bed (queens) with a large living room area. The unit also had a mini kitchen area with a hot plate burner that allowed us to cook a simple meal right in the room. Off the back of the unit was a good size private balcony that provided a perfect view of Magens Bay. The room was so comfortable we felt we could have stayed a week and had no issue on space. Third, the property is very cool and has the exact type of island vibe we were looking for after staying at more corporate places on our trip. There is an onsite coffee shop which is really nice, and the property has mature trees/tropical plants spread throughout. The starfruit tree near the lower pool was aw inspiring! This place is great option and one we will certain be returning to!

Hotel was beautiful and it had a great restaurant upstairs! cute coffee shop downstairs that had lavender coffee ☕️ the views are beautiful. We got a rental and the area is very hilly, walking doesn’t seem accessible so be cautious. everything else was great, would definitely recommend 🩵

We love Flamboyan on the bay. Have stayed several times. The rooms are clean, cool and quiet. The property is beautiful. Local diner has good food. Coffee shop on property is also excellent. The property is close to Megan’s bay which is beautiful!

The entire staff were very pleasant. If you want a 5 star, this is not for you. If you want a clean, quiet and enjoyable time, then this is the place you want to stay. As the continue to fix this resort, it can only get better. I would absolutely stay here again.

I will start by saying, this was our first time, my friends and are were excited and looking forward to our stay. The previous reviews gave this place a 8.6 star review, LIES, at best it’s a 5/10. The views are AMAZING, I will not deny that, beyond that I would NOT recommend staying here, on 3 occasions we were left standing in the middle of a shower with NO water. We called to have this addressed and were told they have a small water tank and the owners have been aware of the issue for years but have not resolved it. We ended up getting a partial refund and booked a different hotel for the remainder of our stay. The coffee cafe was 10/10, didn’t make up for our poor hotel experience but highly recommend the cafe- try the peanut butter and banana toast!!!
